What player is our priority?

pavluychenko and ther left bak would do me at the min! koloden as you said mate can hit a ball, * screamer. but as a defender he was all over the place.

 

i chose boulahrouz cos i think he would be more realistic than pav

tbh mate dont give a * the west was what we wanted and we got it by pumping the premier league champs, how did yous get on against pollok in the next round after beating us lol .

I would love to see Yuri Zhirkov playing for Celts or Denis Koloden both playing just now with the Russian Team.

Zhirkov who has been playing left back for Russia in the Euro 2008 and has been outstanding, he is able to play midfield as well and would solve our left back problems. He is also a deadball expert and is not afraid to take on defenders.
I live in Moscow and Yuri has played for CSKA Moscow for a few years now and was part of the squad who won the UEFA cup in 04/05 and at 24 we would get a good shelf life with him.
Dont know how much CSKA would want for him though.
Cant see us getting Roman unfortunately as Bigger teams ( Man Utd) are now interested

Denis Koloden plays with Dynamo Moscow and has been one of the best Centre Backs in the tournement dealt very well with the Dutch.

 

Voted for big Roman in the gloamin... although with his performances dont see the move being made. Think the main idea would be NOT to waste 6m on James McFadden. I would rather we didnt spend a penny as opposed to signing him. IMO he is a striker with a poor goals ratio or else a winger with no pace, also prone to the odd injury or ten per season.

Think 'The Beast' from Chelski would be a good move however I dont see the board spending 5m+ on a centre half after having the best defence in the SPL last season.

Priorities remain at LB and replacing the Holy 1 as he will inevitably depart.

Yes but he's had a bad time @ spurs, and we have a history of taking failures and getting them to play to the potential that they have.

Other teams may not risk bringing in a player that hasn't lived up to expectations in the EPL

 

No chance of signing Pavlyuchenko imo, even if we could i'd still sign James McFadden before anyone, think that boy would excel in the Hoops man. Hopefully Birmingham don't get promoted though coz if they do i doubt we'd be able to get him.
