Hope The Maverick does well, says alot when he snubbed WBA at the last minute as soon as Celtic got in contact. Big Celtic fan too i hear, will prob take a while to get his fitness to his maximum, as he said so himself. Hey, we cant rate him until we see him in the hoops for ourselves :)

wee Shaun was just a couple of few months of 23 when he made himself a first pick. So age is not a huge issue IMO. Wee Shaun was inlucky with injuries etc. So at 24 its possible McCourt has just been very unlucky. The guy who described him as better than George Best might be a bit prone to exagerration but I have a good feeling about this guy. I am always a lot more impressed when a good player cost little or nothing than I am with 5 million splashes.

Paddy will be a very good signing for us. He just needs to improve his fitness levels, which he will undoubtedly do with the fitness coaches. his ability can never be questioned, quality player.

I remember alot of fans saying henrik who wait till we see the lad before you knock him. You've got to scrap amongst the * to find a real gem.

This is the most mysterious and interesting signing for a while, he reminds me of the guy that played for Liverpool and Czech republic, what was his name?

I'm looking forward to seeing him in a few weeks, he's certainly 2 footed that's without doubt!

Interesting to hear im say he's an out & out attack minded player, he'll need to pick up some defensive duties if he's going to play for WGS (which I'm sure he will).

By the way, is there no goalkeepers in Ireland?

a few oul guys in the local and lived beside paddy said they used to walk down the street when he was a kid just to watch him play and wath the other lads try and get the ball off him which they didnt.
a low risk punt on a player who can dazzle and a derry man into the bargin.
am still buzzing...go on the magican
