No need for a new keeper in my opinion,he will absolutely cut it domestically,and has been brilliant so far.

Not tested in europe yet really so will need to wait and see on that one.

 

The bhoy is class, he's a cool as a cucumber.

He looks so confident and chilled out on the ball and it makes watching alot easier. Not like when Gordon got the ball and you would be * yoursel!

Just waiting on him doing a rabona up the park to a Celtic players feet.

 

Early nerves under the euro spotlight ,steadied after 20 mins and done mostly everything asked ,cant be faulted for any of the goals either so for me, a big yes .

 

Think he’s being very overrated. We’ve not exactly had our hardest competition since the turn of the year bar Valencia. Bain over Gordon yes 100% but still think we should be looking for a keeper in the summer. More than happy for him to prove me wrong though.

 

If we’d paid £6m for a keeper from abroad who was great with the ball at his feet, a more than capable shot stopper who then kept 12 straight clean sheets domestically in his first run of games everyone would be getting excited and rightly so.

He could just end up saving us a fortune on a new keeper.

 

More than capable shot stopper? Your stretching with that. Id be suprised if he has more than double digits shots on target hit into him so far with us, people just dislike Gordon so much they overate every keeper that comes in. Especially if they can pass 5 yards in front of thereselves unlike banana feet gordon. I hope he does save us a fortune and turn out to be a great keeper. Can’t see it though.

If we want to spend some money and get a goalkeeper I wouldn’t be upset however Bain hasn’t done anything to worry me.

 

Just replace Gordon and see how they get on next season. If Bain’s not quite “number 1 quality” then the new guy can come in.

Those saves were excellent and his kicking is very good.

He is the number 1 now for me. Any comparisons with Zaluska were absurd.

 

Brilliant. Well above Gordon for me now.

 

Think the guy will have the number 1 for a long time,he is superb.

Wasn't bad last week, but wasn't good either, whole team was poor overall to be fair.

This week, think at least 3 saves have shown he is capable of coming in at this level. Time will tell still if he can keep this form, but some great saves tonight and completely unfortunate for that goal.

Gordon shouldn't get a look in again, criminal if he does.
