    CELTIC are delighted to announce that Olivier Ntcham has signed a new four-year deal which will see him remain at Paradise until at least the summer of 2022.

    The French midfielder joined the Hoops in July last year, making his debut in a 4-0 UEFA Champions League qualifier win against Linfield at Celtic Park. He has played 68 games for the Hoops, scoring 14 goals, including a superb strike in last season's 2-0 Scottish Cup final win over Motherwell which helped secure the historic Double Treble.


    Speaking at Celtic Park today (Friday) after signing his new deal, Ntcham explained that he's hoping for similar success this year and beyond in the green and white Hoops.

    “I’m delighted to extend my contract,” the 22-year-old told Celtic TV. “It’s good news and I hope we’re going to win more trophies. It’s a great side and I’m glad to be part of the project.

    “Having a strong bond with the players is very important for the team, and for the club. I feel good here and I hope we’re going to win more trophies and that we can be even more successful this year than last year.

    “I want to improve on everything in respect of the game. Scoring more goals is, of course, part of the game and is important for me as well.”

    Holy *, i did not see this coming, what a * deal. He needs to fight for his place in the team again but there's definitely an incredible wee player in there who is probably top 3 best in the league on his day.
