    I'm sure those who laud Lawwell will find a way to spin the EPL window closing early as being detrimental to Celtic.

    Always gave me a chuckle when folk blamed EPL clubs for us missing out on targets in backwater leagues - as if they'd ever scout there, let alone shop.

    This boy is Josef Martinez and has scored 28 goals with 8 games (an MLS record) left in the MLS with newly formed Atlanta. He has scored 46 in 47 for them and looks pretty good. Some goal he scored against Orlando last outing.
    He has had a few clubs behind him where he wasn’t so prolific. That was in Europe for five years. Has been at Torino and Young Boys and is just 25. Could cost us 3mill or so but I’d take a go.

    Think Nagbe from Portland Timbers who we were looking at, is now there..

    Supposedly extremely difficult to sign player's from the MLS due to their contracts or something..

    Think it is like NBA. These aren’t clubs they are franchises and if one team wears adidas they all will. The MLS holds all their contracts I think. Usual American corruption. How to * a country that size has only two political parties is baffling.

    Heard a few time's it can be difficult and they prefer to sell and keep it all in their own league between each other..

    Nagbe was mental hassle to deal with. Also had trialists like Agudelo..

    We are really struggling to break teams down. Need a few players with that bit of spark like Roberts (when fit) and Amrstrong (on form) had.
