2 or 3 exquisite reverse passes in the box to Forrest and KT today..

Was playing almost right wing at time's that first half just to receive the ball..

After 20 minute's he had a right good spell..

Love the fact he's no afraid to take a pop from anywhere against packed defences..

TOM Rogic was a surprise omission from Graham Arnold’s first squad, with the Socceroos coach revealing the forward is battling a knee injury.
Rogic played for his club side Celtic last week and is expected to feature for them again this week, but he will require an injection to treat to his knee, followed by a period of rest.

Arnold picked a 31-man squad to take part in a training camp in Turkey next week, with injured World Cup duo Mathew Leckie and Andrew Nabbout the other notable absentees.

Rogic is a vital player for Celtic and while it’s understood some clubs weren’t happy about releasing their players for a training camp, Arnold says communication with the Scottish club surrounding Rogic’s injury has been great.

Tommy has an ongoing knee issue that’s affecting his hamstring,” Arnold said.

“Nearly every game he’s played has only been 60 minutes and he’s coming off the bench. He’s having an injection directly after their game at the weekend that requires five to seven days rest - it’s a waste of time bringing him in, especially when our medical staff are all over what the injury is.

“There’s been great communication between Celtic and our medical staff, so we know exactly what the issue is. I know Tom well after coaching him for a quite a while and it gives a great opportunity for us to look at other players.”

International break coming up so he will get a bit of rest there.

Not good though, I thought he was brilliant on Sunday, quick feet and a lot of good through balls but did wonder why he come off after an hour.

Need Rogic fit as the rest of the midfield haven’t been up to scratch recently. McGregor and Forrest out of form, Broony’s looking past it.

Not sure if Broony is injured or if his age is finally catching up on him. 34 on his next birthday, the majority of players go into decline around this age, only the exceptional superfit talented ballers go on and play at a high level 34+. Broony has never been superfit, nor exceptionally talented, this may well be his last season in the hoops before he himself retires or injuries start keeping him out longer and longer.

He’s been the fittest player in the squad for years and was talented enough to captain his club and country.
He’s clearly playing through the pain barrier just like he did under Deila.

Rodgers confirmed a few weeks ago he was injured and going to play through it.
