The team does not need an overhaul by any means. It does need a few first team players brought in though to sharpen us up. It feels a bit flat at the minute and to be honest feels a little like 2nd season syndrome. Roberts and Rogic returning will make a huge difference.

 

Don’t think we need a major overhaul that’s not how peter Lawwell operates we will operate within our means even though we have brought in £65m plus in CL money and £40m plus in season ticket and match day ticket revenue plus a potential £7.5m from VVD and £25m for Dembele so need to build up cash!!!

For me we aren’t as fluid as last season and it’s frustrating as *, if you had told me we would get to 30th December and drew 4 games at home, got pumped 4-0 off hearts and failed to win 4 league games in a row I would have called you * insane before season started.

Other way to look it is

8 points clear with 16 league games left this season.

I can see both sides for and against a major over haul.

For- We need a new Keeper, as much as Gordon made some cracking saves he is still a bomb scare at the back.

Can't get how bad Lustig was today he has been suspect this season but * me he was awful today and we need a new right back.

Centre half I really think Ajer will be our main starter and I don' know much about the new guy bit I would still get in another top quality centre half and get rid of Boyata and Simomivc (spelling is well off)

Two wingers - both Paddy and Hayes are our for some time, don't see Roberts coming back and will Hayes be the same player with his age?

I would get someone who can play along side Brown if I'm honest and push Ntcham up at the number 10.

I'm with the major overhaul if I'm honest we should be looking to add quality each season and make our team better.

We have the money there is no excuse now in the past we had the money and failed to add and this bit us in the *, let's hope this doesn't happen again.

If I'm honest I think our board will penny pinch again and give it the same old we tried, Rodgers will get * off and end up going back down south in a year or so cause they don't back him.

The team is stale and badly needs some new faces with drive to keep pushing the others forwards...to many players in this team have new contracts under their belts and have since dropped in form.

 

iv been a celtic fan through the good and the not so good and the down right bad times.....i will never wear green tinted specs and always call it as i see it...nothing wrong with judging the team when they do badly as well as when they do well.

 

do you wanna compare our current team to some really bad sides from the past? I don't understand how some people act like apocalypse is near when we are at top by a million points.
