He allowed Naka to play, he was solid for that Strachan side.

Alan Thompson, Didier Agathe and Bobby Petta are the first that come to mind all played in the O'Neil era. I would say currently Forrest and McGregor have been underrated.

Aye Didier Agathe used to get it tight from some fans in the MON days, strong and fast and decent distribution. He was a regular starter in a very high standard Celtic side. Also a good shout for Broto, cracking distribution as well and a good bit of minerals about him.

I seem to rememver thinking Hartley's legs were gone when I last seen him play for us.

07/08 he was as crucial as anyone to us winning the league.

Legs definitely hadn’t ‘gone’ per se but he was adapted to play as a holding midfielder. Still scored away in Moscow!

Samaras had some really memorable performances and goals in Europe.

He was similar to Jiri Jarosik, in that they both seemed to raise their games for the big matches.

Not sure if underrated is the right word but I had a soft spot for Zurawski.

Andreas Thom was a brilliant ball player and chipped in with a few goals. Was overshadowed by the three amigos.

Murdo McLeod great midfield brain. Brilliant passer of the ball and a shot like a rocket.

Alan McInally didn't get a proper chance in the hoops and went on to become a Villa and Bayern Munich legend.

Enjoyed Zheng Zhi in his brief time with us. Not a great era to be involved in but put in some good performances and a great goal at Hearts as well on the last day of the season.

Him and Robson won us the league that year.

They were immense during that 2 or 3 game run against the Huns where we had to win.

He was a good hard working tough wee midfielder. I was surprised when Lennon took over and didnt try and keep him. He looked like he could have been Lennon's type of player

I mind this one, but Crosas didn't sign until Summer 08, whereas this was the 07/08 title.

It was Brown who got dropped, and our form picked up instantly. It was due to his sister's death that his form had gone to *, but we only found that out retrospectively.

Georgios Samaras. Always amazed me that a player who was "world class" and "unplayable" was never snapped up by Barcelona or Real Madrid. I imagine they probably put numerous bids in for him but his level of consistency was just too invaluable to Celtic.
