What I find even more incredible is the fact that not even ONE journalist has the balls to write a piece on how their brand of football is going to reflect on the game both here in Scotland and overall throughout Europe. They're all too busy fawning over the Huns to see the bigger picture here. I'm not a stats man but I reckon we'd be hard pushed to find any team who've played so many rounds of a European tournament, scored so few goals and yet got to the final. An absolute disgrace and a shocking advert for the game as a whole.

If they do win, it'll not be in open play as there's no way they could beat Zenit over 90 mins. It'll be after ET and on pens as usual. 10men behind the ball at all times and praying to their Hun * that Darcheville manages to sneak one somehow.

How they're not even embarrassed is beyond me but what's worse is the fact so few teams seem to know how to break them down. I'm not going to compare us to Italian, Portugese teams etc but if we can score 5 in two games, what's stopping any other half decent side from scoring against them.

Something is very wrong if this brand of football is allowed to prevail!

List the teams Celtic beat to get to the 2003 final.

List the teams Rangers beat to get to the 2008 final.

Only the huns would say 2008 > 2003. Everyone else would laugh their * off at that comparison.

Oh and even if they do win it (which obviously, I hope they DON'T), it will be irritating as * and we'll have to put up with it until doomsday (from them and the media). At the end of the day at least we can all be safe in the knowledge we won Big Ears, a trophy that outstrips the UEFA Cup and something they will never get their hands on, ever. :celt_2:

THEY will prob go on and win the UEFA Cup with the amount of luck THEY carry. It was the same wen smith was in charge years ago teams would be all over them and THEY would still scrape a win. Death of football right enough I think my sig says it all.

Certainly not the best advertisment for Scottish football. The fact that they dont play football, their fans make arses of themselves EVERYWHERE they go is not going to help Scotland at all. But nevermind, I'm sure the media will praise them non stop as their team and fans are wonderful. I'm actually sure the way they play football is not defensively, it is "Unique":50:

The 1st text I sent last night was exactly as said earlier. That has got to be THE worst team to ever make it to a European final.

My biggest worry now is, apart from the * winning it, is that the unwashed hordes all travel to Manchester, and Scotland manages to catch itself a European ban. I am being realistic on that one, they have never travelled anywhere incident free, and there'll be Thousands of them in Manchester !!

On a side note, to show the mentalilty of the huns, a boy I work with said he would rather that Rangers fans rioted in Mancehster and Rangers were kicked out fo Europe. Whan I asked why the * he wanted that .........

He said thats the Rangers way !!! What a complete *, I hope a mad Russian stabs him !!!

The uefa cup is pish now, it has been for the last couple of years but the huns still don't deserve to be anywhere near the final it is a joke, Christian Vieri last night was f**king Sh**e can't beleive the chances he missed and the penalty the least said about that the better.

The sad fact is that it ain't just the the small teams in the SPL that make Celtic look bad now it's Rangers as well, we really need to ditch this pish league as its dragging our good name through the mud.

The Huns must be the worst ever team to reach a European final, I mean its says something when Nacho Novo scores the winning penalty!!

Heres one fan - if Celtic were playing the same brand of football that those * have been pedalling I would be embarrased to watch it, and wouldnt want the world to watch my team do it in a Final.

But we never have played that way and we never will. Which is why I can be proud of Celtic.

So Andych, it aint bad grapes, its a love of football thats causing these posts.

i dont agree that the uefa cup is pish. i cant see us getting to the champ lge final anytime soon, and would love another crack at the uefa. yes ambitions are high in the champ lge, and yes getting to the last 16 and last 8 would be yet again another achievement. silverware in europe would be gr8, but it will only be through eufa cup. i would love another week out like seville, gr8 party, gr8 final (even though we lost) gr8 banter! i am jealous as * that they * got to Manchester. i am not looking forward to it if they win though, never ending pish spurts. i do agree that they are the worst team in recent memory to get to final!

    Totally agree.

We can call the UEFA Cup whatever we want, but if we were there it would be brilliant.

As has been said, we can only pray we get to the last 16 of the CL, and maybe the miracle of the last 8, but realistically, that's it.

If we want to have the whole buzz of it all, and the possibility of a European trophy, then the UEFA Cup is our limit at the moment.

The run to Seville will live for me forever, and I wouldn't mind another slice of that.

You can keep your statistics of last 16's, because outwith cash, they give me limited enjoyment.

Stand toe to toe with any hun at the moment, and tell them we reached the last 16 of the CL, and they'll never swap where they are.
