Champ League V UEFA CUP

Most of us will remember the UEFA cup final for as long as we live. The same can hardly be said of qualifying for the last 16. That answers the question.

 

The UEFA Cup Final is a big competition but the ECL is the one to be in especially after Christmas

 

At the end of the day the CL is the real deal. It is where all the best clubs play and if you want to be regarded as a big club then you have to be there. To get to the last 16 the last two years is a great achievement when you see which clubs failed to do it. There is always a possibility of us winning it - just look at Porto, a club who is probably smaller that us winning it a few seasons ago.

What must be the case from now on is that we are in Europe after Christmas. Part of the buzz about getting to Seville was the fact that it was the first time in 15 odd years that we had been in any European competition after Christmas. It is especially important to do this when we are either miles ahead of Rangers or miles behind them and we have little to play for.

Champions League every time for me. As soon as i hear the music it sends shivers down my spine. We have to also maintain that we are not an easy to beat for anyone in Europe.

 

all in all, id rather be headin to manchester in a few weeks to watch us in the uefa cup final than have got to last 16 in CL, look at those shower of scum tonight...shocking

How the * are they in a European final?

 

Because its a shadow of the competition we got to Seville in, thats why and I said that last season so I dont have my green tinted googles on either

 

Why is that?

 

The competition format has changed so that more stronger teams are playing in the UCL and more weaker teams from leagues are playing in the EURO Cup. Thats a fact

The feeling of going through to the last sixteen is nothing on getting to a European final, Seville was brilliant we were all over the moon. Think about that now. I'd take winnning the Uefa Cup,money wise CL is better but that doesnt give us happiness does it?.
