    that might be the price we have to pay now for letting McNamare, henchoz etc go.

    camara is the worst defender i have ever seen by far in a celtic top. he might be a friendly bloke, but he is just not good enough for our team so far. same with telfer, he is like a steven pressley with much less skills.

    but what i seen last night from our offense was quite good.

    lets get a solid defense somehow (buy me, i would play for free!) and things wont be as bad as they used to be.

    Id love to see us sign Father Dougal - he'd have more of a clue than Camara thats for sure.

    We need to sign Paul Hartley From the cousins of satan A.S.A.P. I do agree about Balde and Varga. All you have to do is watch any foreign football on T.V. and you will see countless good cheap defenders. Why are we not signing them? If we had signed Hartley in Dec.04 we might have won the league. In stead we quibbled about £200,000. :celt_2: :shamrock:

    We'll get Hartley for buttons if we wait till january though.

    I'd like to see Maloney get a shot out on the wing - he did well cutting in from the right last night, hes got a few tricks and he cant cross it any worse than wallace.

    Beatties got everything for me - they could cash in on Hartson and show a bit of faith in him.

    I just cant see enough in wallace though - cant fault him for effort mind.

    I keep bangin on about aliadere, probably cos i'm an arsenal supporter, but the guy is class....few outings he made he looks a class act.....if strachans gonna play the lottery with the likes of beattie, mcgready and maloney why not aliadere he has more skill in one foot then all of them....on top of that he has real pace one thing celtic didn't have anywhere on the park last night...especially up front..

    To be honest goonie, I thought that bringing off Thompson for Aliadere was GS big mistake last night. The big chance he had was when Hartson headed the ball down to him 6 yards out and he was so flat footed he miscontroled it altogether. He still has to win the fans over as when we have needed hin he hasn't delivered.

    Just hope he gets a proper chance to prove himself...yeah he's been injury proven best part of two seasons but he's ratio goals v appearances is good and he's fast as *....

    think he'll add something to the team that's not there at the moment....

    read the posts an youl see that the light is the way we performed as a unit, didnt concede, we've scored 8 in two games and GS has his first win. some consolation i suppose.

    And know we know how well we can play, be it against not as very good side, least we know we can play well together. Still not a big fan of Camara though.
