This wee guy needs to go back to the bench or the reserves for a while.

His 'tricks' are old hat now.

He constantly gives the ball away and is a wate of precious space at CP at the moment. I would have Beattie replace him any day of the week.

Wee fairy boy is out of form so If he can't find his form tonight when it matters, going back into the reserves will do him the world of good.

Agreed, he is far too predictable and would be as well not showing up. On his day Mcgeady is brilliant but recently he has done * all. Beattie has done well any time he has been on and he is scoring too. Bring the big man on :50:

hel be warmin the bench when nakamura starts his hoops career, needs a spell in the gym, did maloney the world of good, although he's lost a bit of his pace.

    Agree totally.

I hoped he would come back after the summer break a bit bulkier, but if anything he's lighter and still doesn't know when to release the ball, and his crossing is too inconsistent.

Beatties a far better tackler, puts himself about, and will guarantee you a proper shift from start to finish. Some of the older players could take a few pointers from him, let alone McGeady.

He impresses me less and less every time I see him, which is a worry...

Same old story. After their 'novelty' has worn off and some of their pace dwindles, the diamonds look more like duds.

Seen it happen donkey's times at CP. Donnelly etc

When was the last time one of our young prospects actually came good?
I seriously can't remember anyone breaking through and holding down a regular place.
Maloney has been unlucky with his injury, as to has John Kennedy, but most of our great prospects turn out to be one season wonders. In MON's time at the club, Burchill, Healy, Crainey and Miller have all failed to make the grade, I do feel a little sorry for Healy and Crainey, as I don't think they were given a proper chance. Maloney looks just as good since coming back, and I hope Kennedy comes back as good, however McGeady is a one trick pony who has yet to convince me. He is similar to Ronaldo at Man U, always overdoing it with no end product, Fergie has got the best out of Ronaldo, who now has the end product to match his skills. I worry about McGeady, but I am willing to give him time, but a few sessions down the gym wouldn't go wrong. Can't believe Hail Hail and myself agree on something!!!

I think if they want to take McGeady off they should rotate him with Wallace

He wants a big Irish Stew washed down with a few black ones everyday, no wait thats what happened to BBJ.

He's still a kid no point in letting him crash and burn already.

Sorry, but i really don't see anything in Wallace. Has no right foot so defenders know how to deal with it. Not that fast or strong either. Bit like McGeady except I feel he's better than Wallace.

maloney and beattie have to be picked ahead of mcgeady now, he has def lost form. was suprised wallace started last night. maloney could have finished a bit better but hes been out for ages with a bad injury and every time he gets the ball you feel he can do something with his excellent link up and the fact he isnt scared to go @ defenders.

McGeady is still learning. How often did players like Jinky do weights. No replacement for skill. Beattie and Maloney however do deserve to be in the team ahead of him on form at the moment. [IMG]

He's got skill, can't argue with that. But skill doesn't really help when your not either strong or fast.

its a different game now, much more physical than before. he just needs to inprove his upper-body strength to hold the ball more.

McGeady is a very talented player but he still has so much to learn.
