Anthony Ralston

I am sticking up for tony ralston, I think he did well considering who he was up against, where was I criticising ( spelling ) him ?

 

Massive respect for wee Ralston. 18 years old and took no * from the game's biggest *. the bhoy got cojones, he brings the right mentality.

 

The footage of him cleaning out Neymar and then roaring at the crowd should be included in this seasons treble winning DVD. Didn't get us a goal but was priceless

 

He was brilliant last night. Bar the 1st goal but I don't think many woulda stopped that one.

Neymark was constantly at it through the match. Constantly covering his back by covering his mouth so he try and attempt to wind Ralston up. Mans a coward. From some of the gestures Neymark is obviously saying things that would normally get someone decked. He may be a brilliant footballer but he is an out and out A grade carrot of a person. Some see this sort of thing as 'being professional' and 'getting any advantage' but it is just plain wrong. Gamemanship vs Sportmanship is going the wrong way in todays football. I reckon Neymark thought he would have it all his own way last night and maybe Ralston did enough to think he needed even more of an advantage than just his football skills. Guess that would be a compliment of sorts.

Can't believe some people criticised Ralston for facing up to Neymark and having a bit of bottle. Wouldn't like them having my back. Credit to him for even offering to shake Neymarks hand.

 

Thought Ralston really grew into the game second half. Hopefully get a good run out at the weekend and given Brendan a decision to make for ibrox if boyata is struggling to be fit.

Get him some regular game time through the season and I think we might have unearthed a great prospect to eventually replace lustig.

 

Still canny believe he sprinted 50 yards to take out a player then celebrated it and got the crowd going mental

Anybody hear talk sport the night trying to say Ralston should not play again for Celtic . Honest we have too many * bags in football these days and this bhoy is not one of them. I think he will be great for us.

Aye you got it. I had to pop into Tesco but caught the tail end of a Tim defending Ralston who also explained the history with Lustig too. Not to forget Brown being sent off a few year back when Neymar dived like a US submarine
