Liam Henderson

Seen him again training today, he's wasting away now with too many options in front of him.

Only a year left on his deal too, needs to get his future sorted over next couple weeks wherever that may be. Most likely down south at a Championship club.

 

I see no future for him at Celtic at all. Great player too but we have too many options ahead of him in that position.

 

Is he even training with the first team? Not seen him in any of the training photos that appear here.

 

Shame, I still think if he got a good run of games he would improve further.
Probably end up at Hibs or down south.

Thanks. Hadn't seen those. Just wondered as he does seem to have disappeared. Will be interesting to see if he is involved tomorrow in any way.

 

Sadly his career has stagnated since that breakthrough under Lennon, I honestly can't see him ever becoming a regular here. But he would easily be a good signing for any other team in Scotland.

 

Doubt it but who knows.

 

There was talk of him going to the championship down south, he could easily play there for a decent side.

I think he's bound to be one of those players we let go of, who turns into a decent player, one who could have very well done a job for our first team.

I think if Lenny stayed we might be looking a Kieran Tierney of the midfield. I think Deila rated him but the decisions to loan him were the right ones. Just can't get a game in our midfield, and its justified with the quality we have there.

He'll move on and become a solid player, I really rate him. Think he's got most of the qualities any team would want down the middle.

 

I think he's unfortunate to come through the club when we have players of Rogic's et al calibre at our disposal. There doesn't seem to be a weak link in the middle of the park for us or lack of depth like our wing backs where youth is being given a chance to support.

I'm a fan of Henderson but I think it's in everyone's interest now for him to move on permanently. He'd walk into any team in Scotland and would do a decent job at championship level in England. I'd like him to stay in Scotland.

I feel a bit sorry for Liam. I really like him as a player and it's unfortunate for him that the middle of the park is extremely strong for us just now with so many better options. He could still come on and do a job for us but with so many infront of him, there would need to b an outbreak of food poisoning to the majority of our midfield players before he got a game. Which is a shame coz I think he's a talented player.

As others have said, he could defo do a job at any other SPL club (mainly sheep hibs-too good for the rest) but as much as I'd like him to stay in Scotland I think he's destined for better things. He could cut it in championship down south no probs either.

I know he hasn't left yet, but his game time is extremely limited and I don't like good talent goin to waste and would encourage him to move on given the current situation. All the best Liam, whatever you chose.

I'd put a 10/15 % clause on him as I reckon he'll command fee's down England throughout his time..

 

A bargain for someone if they can pick him up for 300k surprised Hibs don't go for him
