Poor again. Who was arguing with me in here last week after I was saying he's poor quite often?

His form is a concern and maybe a place on the bench for the next league game if he's pish again against Astana .

Was a tough game for him and no one in the team particularly shone tonight. Bit like the Rosenborg game at home, it was quite sub standard.

Main thing was the 3 points and we got them. Now for Wednesday, completely different kettle of fish altogether.

To write last season's POTY off at this stage of the season is ludicrous and calls for him to dropped are baffling me. He's still one of our biggest threats going forward as we seen in the game away at Rosenborg and I've no doubt he'll be stepping up on Wednesday again. Tonight wasn't his night but it wasn't anyone's and to be fair, I didn't think he did anything majorly wrong, he just wasn't afforded the space he needs to get at defenders making them backtrack and rounding them for fun.

Anyway, just finding it crazy people would leave him out the starting 11 for Wednesday. He'll start that game and rightly so, and don't be surprised if it's his song the fans are singing come full time.

This is why Hayes was brought in, give him game time on the left in the next domestic game.

Been poor for a while now. I've said it before and followed that up by saying I rate him and expect him to return to form soon but bit worried at the moment. He really needs to step up and be a match winner for us on games like last nights and not someone who plays a bit part role and scores a sexy goal every 5 games.

I feel like Tierney is putting in a 2-man shift on that left wing at the moment.

One of the commentators said he's playing too safe all the time. I didn't know what he meant until I realized he doesn't do those wee mazey runs into the box anymore which trick defenders or force them to try to block him. He quite literally plays safe around the area passing to others.

SCOTT Sinclair simply wanted to fall in love with football again when he checked into Paradise. It has proved to be a marriage made in heaven. The 28-year-old recently marked his one-year anniversary as a Celtic player with a video on his Instragram page. It was a short highlight reel from the previous 12 months, a snippet of his stunning success story since arriving in Paradise from Aston Villa.

However, a new season is now underway and Sinclair has fresh goals and targets, starting with helping Celtic reach the UEFA Champions League group stages again over the coming week as he explained ahead of tonight’s game against Astana in an exclusive interview with the Celtic View.

This week, Celtic face FC Astana in the UEFA Champions League play-offs, one of the most crucial contests of the season for the club. Having played at the same stage last year against Hapoel Be’er Sheva, what is it like to play in these high-pressure matches?
It’s one of those games which is high pressure. You go into the game knowing we have to win and it’s just one of them where you want it so much but one where you have to stay calm and treat it like it’s any other game.

Like last year’s play-off, the Hoops are at home in the first-leg. What approach is required in Paradise?
Going into the game, we need to stay calm and be confident and be relaxed and play our normal game like we did all of last season. It would be nice to get a few goals at home and then make sure we keep a clean sheet and go away a couple of goals ahead. If we can go into the second game without conceding, that will give us an edge for going out there.

Your first home game for Celtic was the 5-2 victory over Hapoel Be’er Sheva in the UEFA Champions League play-off. Did the occasion surpass your expectations?
It was unbelievable. The noise on a Champions League night is absolutely amazing. It’s one of those games that every player wants to play in, and I’m sure we will get the same sort of atmosphere tonight. The fans are loud every week but these games just special. Playing against European teams just different and it feels bigger. It feels that every single fan is singing along. I’m looking forward to it, and hopefully everyone will be raring to go and be ready.

Although you weren’t here for the games against FC Astana in the third qualifying round last season, have you heard from your team-mates about what kind of test they will pose?
The boys have said the away leg was tough. But I find that is the case anywhere we play in the latter stages of qualification. We will have to be right at it and make sure we stick together so we can get through into the Champions League.

What would it mean for you to play in the group stages again?
It would mean a lot to all of us. As anyone who has played for Celtic, you want to be playing in the Champions League. The magnitude of our club is massive and the fans and everyone involved in Celtic wants to be there. Over the past 12 months, we are better as a team and we have come through a lot and learned from mistakes and we are better going into the Champions League this time around.

And it also means no-one can belittle the achievements of Celtic, which unfortunately still happens regularly from sections of the media in England.
Going into the Champions League, once you are playing there, no-one can downgrade the league as you’re playing the best teams in Europe and no journalist can say you are a poor club or player. When we drew against Manchester City at home, a game we should have won, no one could say anything negative about us.

We could really, really do with a big performance from him tonight. He's a big-game player in my opinion, so really hoping he can step up and do the business tonight. A goal or two tonight and everyone will forget the recent poor form :50:

Despite criticism of his form recently, he was a big reason we were able to score that vital goal in Norway against Rosenborg. When he was dribbling towards their defence, three of their defenders were closing in on him, which opened up that space for Forrest on the right. Forrest still had a bit to do but the way he draws players towards him before playing a pass is vital for us.

Yep. Needs to do that more often and start being more direct again. That's when he's at his best.

Looking for a big game from him tonight he has not been on form so far this season in my opinion. He has showed quality at times yes, but Scott has not played to the best of his ability
