Read on Uefa rules player can be added upto 11pm the day before the first leg of the match they could be involved in, i must have read it wrong is it 11pm before the first legs of any matches?

 

Rule 43.08 "For the three qualifying rounds and the play-offs, a club may register a maximum

of one new eligible player on List A after the above-mentioned deadlines,

provided the quota of locally trained players is respected. Such registration must

be completed by 24.00CET on the day before the relevant first-leg match and the

club’s association must confirm in writing that the new player is eligible to play at

domestic level at this time."

I took that as 11pm tomorrow? Says match which made me think the match involving the player in question.

 

Yeah fair point mate , I think everyone is reporting something different , we will find out I suppose

 

"The Premiership champions have until 11pm on Tuesday to add one more as a designated 'wild card', before the first leg at Parkhead the following night" thats from Sky Sports and DR mate, must be tomorrow.

 

I would assume the rules need to be the same for every team involved at this stage of the competition, i.e. tonight due to there being games tomorrow night. Otherwise it would be an advantage to play on the first Wednesday as you'd have an extra day to sign players.

Man City just released a list of players heading to Girona today for a training camp and wee Paddy's listed on it. Puts to bed any rumours he'll be signing today, I'd think.
