    Hi Demspey, I am glad you got it Mate, I hope you like it. I thought it would have go to you a bit quicker than that but I have never sent anything by air mail before.

    Tim, i suppose a number of us, gave as good as we got, no hard feelings from me.

    If anyone wants one, I am ordering another batch next Thursday 24th April and I am sorry but the deadline to order your flag is 12 midday on Thursday 24th April, I will get these flags ordered on the above date in first class recorded delivery on Monday 28th April.

    Please remember one thing, this is a for a youngster who is not as fortunate as a lot of us. ATB. Reeco

    Recco you have a target of £2,000 to make for the boy's chair lift - which seem's fair. but you have no intention of stopping at £2,000 clearly so what will happen to all the other money made?
    if you sell 100 ON HERE alone you'll give away £100 to the owner of this site- which is wrong. charities do not give out money as a gift.
    go into a cancer research shop and hand over £2000 would you be happy for them to hand the next person they see £100 since they'd made over their expected amount for the day/week?

    IF you sell 100 on here that'll be £2,000 - your Target and when you'd assume the charity would then be closed? you've made approx £500 already according to your website so your 1/4 of the way there but still want to make 2,000 from here alone? you do this on three forums, a celtic, arsenal and wales one thats £6,000 you'll have made for the charity that only needs £2,000.
    if i was to donate to the charity £100 would i not be aswell to actually just donate talkceltic.net £100 as for all i know thats where the money could well go?


    Sorry for sounding so... suspicious you might say. but you are confusing me, and no doubt others.
    maybe a video of BBJ talking about the subject would ease my mind, maybe i'd still think your taking a cut for yourself...

    *, theres no need to apologise to somone who has come on to our forum, not because he's a Celtic Fan, but to ask us to send him money.

    You are right to be suspicious, for several reasons. Firstly the subject of the fund raising is very emotive, and is likely to have touched the blackest of hearts.
    Secondly the whole charity question that you raised has been gnawing away at me too, I just dont get it tbh.
    The final thing that has been bugging me is how he got someone in a position of responsibility on the Forum to legitimise his claims, this is not a slight on the the Forum member concerned, but I just think it was maybe slightly calculated on Reeco's part.

    My thoughts are if people wish to make a donation to charity, they should do so, I always find Yorkhill to be a worthy cause myself.

    Unfortunately Reeco its a cynical world. Iechyd Da !

    McGee, I have had enough from no marks like yourself givin it the big un.

    Just to let you know because you think you know everything, I have sold up to now, no flags whatsoever off TalkCeltic.net, so let me work this out, I wonder how much the chair lift fund for Brandon has made, Ah I know a big fat zero, so as you say if I can duplicate my efforts on a least say another 100 websites like this one and get the same response, 100 x nothing equals nothing.

    All the flags I have sold up to now are on my website and all donations are accounted for, nothing hidden. I am a loser for not selling any on here, I will leave you work that one out lol.

    The £ 100 donation was going to come out of my own business and would have been nothing to do with the fund raiser, it was just my way of offering something back.

    I would like to say, a very big thank you to all the genuine Celtic fans who sent PM's and e-mails of support, It was very much appreciated.

    I have become bored with the tedious tossers who seem to think they know it all, I am a better man in everyway, shape and form than all of the knockers who use this site, you know who you are you gutless tossers.

    To finish I wasn't asking for your money for nothing, I was offering a genuine official Celtic flag signed by the Big Man. I proved beyond a shadow of a doubt I was for real but that wasn't good enough for some of you.

    If I brought Big John in front of you, some of you would still have something negative to say lol @ you.

    I am not a Celtic fan, but I do enjoy watching Celtic play but I am also a football fan who appreciates all aspects of the modern game.

    This will be my last entry, character assasination by a bunch of no marks who have never done anything in their life is hard to swallow.

    Maybe one day perhaps some of the knockers on here will grow a pair and try and help someone else who is less fortunate than themselves but * will probably freeze over first.

    I'm shocked at the tone of this post Reeco. You arrive on our site and just assume that we will all trust someone asking money from us. Even though the internet is awash with scams and fraudsters.

    How dare you question the charitable intentions of anyone here? Just because they don't want to purchase one of your overpriced flags means they'll never want to help those less fortunate than themselves? How will you ever know what these people do or have done for other causes? Perhaps causes closer to their own hearts.

    Yours is a worthy cause but in my opinion a less than impressive way of raising money for that boy's care. Hawking signed flags online to people who will have every reason to doubt your credentials does not seem to be the best way to exploit your friendship with John Hartson.

    If that was indeed your last contribution then you seem to have concluded your business here.
