He was constantly bugging the defenders, worked hard. And scored when it was needed. If he isn't suspended, Rangers may as well as forfeit the match.

I watched the match. Did you? Vennegoor was a pain in the * for Motherwell. And coupled with our midfield working well, he scored 2 and contributed to one goal.

Rangers play more defensively than Motherwell. Motherwell were dangerous to our goal, Rangers will play ultra-bunker at Parkhead. And if we managed to put on such a good display on that kind of surface, we should be able to destroy Rangers.

m/well aint a bad team. they are third. a 4-1 against last years third would have been great, or even 4th hibs

its not that they are a bad team its their style in contrast to rangers, and the pitch will obviously be better condition so it will be less scrappy play

They Rangers defence won't concede 4 goals though and I'm sure they'll get through the frail defence so it's a matter of taking chances when they come.

Stuck naka in the middle of midfield with hartley behind him.

Naka is wasted on the wings, he has a great footballing mind and would destroy any team if played central.

Also McGeady would be much more of a threat on the left up against Papac on Wednesday

    McGeady-----Naka-----Hartley-----Robson

Rangers arnt a footballing side tho,
they prefer to stick 10 men behind the ball.

    I would play

    ------------------------Boruc----------------------
    Hinkel-----------Balde---------McManus-------Naylor
    ----McGeady-----Nakamura----Hartley------Robson
    -----------------Samaras----McDonald------------

As Samaras likes to drop deep it will help against Rangers extra man in midfield.

Everytime McGeady got 1-on-1 with Broadfoot he skinned him.The fact odf the matter is that Rangers will do everything in their power to stop McGeady getting 1-on-1 with Broadfoot or Papac. Most of the time McGeady had to beat Davis or Dailly just to get a run at Broadfoot in the last match.

Nakamura would get muscled out by Ferguson,Davis, and Thomson.A Hun match is no time for experimenting.I'd start with the same midfield which started today in the same positions.

But Davis is a fast wee f*cker and managed to track back and help Broadfoot, I can't see McCulloch being able to can you?
