    Can't see it unless Dorus leaves, Brendan obviously trusts him as back up and he is decent back up, doubt we'd get any better to sit on the bench all season hoping Gordon gets injured.

    Definitely the type of signing we should make. He is 25, quick and strong. Great in the air and comfortable on the ball. Honestly he is a 20million pound defender in england if his head was right. If he can regain the form that got him an Emgland cap we could be building the best team since MON. And I mean that in a European sense not domestic.

    That's why I wanted a centre half in early/lined up. A lot of teams only returned for pre-season on Monday so most players won't be match fit yet. I'd prefer Toure as a coach now. His biggest asset was always his pace/tackling - I think since the Motherwell(away) game he looked a little bit uneasy. He's still super strong, I think his timing has gone a bit though.

    We have to wait to get quality players. We aren't sitting back, doing nothing. The alternative is bringing in targets further down the list and that sends us backwards in my opinion.

    12/13 Spurs 20 years old 18 premier games. 6 games in the Europa.

    13/14 Cardiff paid £8 million for him and was 21 years old. 38 premier league games and scored 5 league goals and was their captain.

    14/15 QPR paid £8 million for him and was 22 years old 35 premier league games.

    Over 100 Epl games by the age of 23 and cost a combined £16 million.

    You sound like your tuned in with Mr Caulker and his goings on. I will say that if the bhoy needs a place to sort his head, come here and sign up. Brendan will look after him and get him to a level where he is bossing it. What got him all the hype initially. He would be very welcome here and these fans will back him to the hilt. Bring the guy home.
