Liam Henderson

He looked good when he broke through under lenny, hasnt really done much since then. Dont see him making it here tbh will be a good Hibs or championship player

He's not really. While McGregor has undoubtedly progressed this year under Brendan's tutelage, I feel you are being way way too generous in your assessment. The difference is minuscule between McGregor and Henderson, and McGregor is no hare either.

Not got the quality to break into our first team squad, never mind the starting 11.

 

Always hoped he would break into the side not going to happen though,younger guys like Kouassi and Benyu already look a level above him,we should loan him to English Championship,if he does well we can make a mil or 2 on him,no point in loaning him to Hibs or anywhere else in Scotland

 

You talk so much pish I'm surprised anyone even takes notice anymore... never mind communicates with you on here. You are either 12 years old, completely dilusional or just haven't got a clue about football. Henderson has done nothing of note in a Celtic jersey and has never been a regular, whereas McGregor has been improving and impacting matches ever since he came back from Notts County. As Brendan has already stated many times, he is a valuable first team squad member. Henderson simply is not and may never be.

which tells a story. Not to say he can't develop but he is running out of time under this manager.

Although I rated him and hoped he could have a future with us, given the amount of new central midfielders he absolutely doesn't stand a chance.

I wish it wasn't like this, but he should go for his own sake, because I highly doubt that another loan would change anything.

 

How can you say the difference is miniscule between the 2 when you compare the number of games each player has played since last season? What are you basing that assessment on exactly?

 

It's time for him to move on, for his own sake. There are 3 midfield positioms up for grabs and there are at least 8 players ahead of him in the pecking order currently. Brendan keeps saying he wants pace throughout his team, that goes against him straight away. What it boils down to is he just isn't good enough and I haven't seen any real improvement from him, when he gets a chance, to indicate he ever will be.

 

Had high hopes for him but he needs game time to kick on.

I think he would do another Prem team a turn or even the bottom half of the English Championship.

Time to move on.

 

Including age. He's three years older. I don't think McGregor was any better three years ago than Henderson is now.

Let's hope he improves at the same rate.

 

Should send him out on loan again, 2 year loan somewhere. Get him games under his belt, he has the talent.

Looks like he's well out the picture. Hopefully a loan but mibby time to ship him if not cutting it.

Still think theres a player there but maybe went downhill.

 

Henderson is Enderson here. If he makes the right move he could still be a decent player somewere else.
