    Look you's don't need to convince me, agree with all that's been said.

    He's in his early 20's with the world at his feet. He's a poster boy for Adidas under the Messi brand.
    We know exactly how the english media portray Scottish football so even after the season he's just had and the adoration he's received I still think his head will be turned by influences down there, money and aspirations to make it at international level for Ingerland

    Go to a team like Huddersfield and they have a bad season you could get stuck at that level, fair enough a team like Southampton but the teams just up and relegation battle sides you end up just cannon fodder, very difficult for a player like Roberts to show his talent if they don't have the ball for most of the game

    Celtics unique selling point is the requirement to win in style every week, fantastic habit for a young player to get into.

    Standards slip if you can get away with having an off game and not feel the pressure.

    So it may not be against the best opposition but it's a good schooling

    Only way i see us getting him is for us to qaulify for the group stages and then break our tranfer record. I hope to * we get him back, hes a beutiful footballer and we are a different animal going forward with him on the right wing. Game changer on his day at champions league level.
