From the way Rodgers was talking in interviews he said we'd be signing a pedigree no10 this doesn't look like that but he does look fairly decent

The fact this came out of nowhere and we're supposedly close to a deal then it seems like it's fairly likely to happen.

Don't know much about him, but looks like a big * who can play and tackle. That's enough for me, in Brendan we trust.

Probably end up being like Donati, alright but nothing special.

Agree. We seem to do extremely well of keeping our signings close to our chest until something is about to happen (travelling up for talks/medical)

Got to echo a few others as well and say I'm not too happy also about only really targeting Chelsea/Man City youth players which has seemed to be the case with the amount we've been linked with (Unless of course we can get Paddy back) as for me it shows a real lack of imagination in the transfer market and at the end of the day what are the scouts getting paid for if they're just coming up with players from this region?

We had the right idea when we bid for Onyekuru in January who was a hot prospect in Belgium, sadly we couldn't get him which was a shame cause he looked class. But there's definitely a few hidden gems in these markets to be had from Belgium, France, Spain, Germany etc that we should be trying to find. Limiting ourselves to England (Which is where the majority of our signed players have come from since Brendan took over) seems like we're restricting ourselves too much from unearthing hidden gems for better value.

    Oh shut up!

He's French, and has been playing in Italy.

So what does it matter if his parent club are in England?

I think this could be the guy from Man city we are after and I do believe there is serious interest in Musonda at Chelsea, all the other players linked from those clubs are more than likely just guess work as they had an inkling we were looking at one from each.

Would be happy with this guy, he looks very powerful and a real box to box player.

With Celtic rating Kouassi very highly also I think there will be a couple midfield outgoing in the next couple weeks if we get this one over the line.

See that Arrabba on KDS saying it will happen. People say he's very reliable and he was the guy that told everyone in the excitement of the Musonda Jr links that he wasn't the guy we wanted.

He looked faster and trickier. Does that mean he looks better? I would disagree. Nitcham is a French u21 international and I trust Brendan's judgement 100%. After the season we have just had, he deserves that. This guy could prove to be an utter goldmine. He has all the attributes to be a Yaya Toure.
