Can Nakamura Play Against Artmedia?

    I heard Gordon Strachan saying that Nakamura won't play against Motherwell but could be involved on Tuesday (Artmedia) or Sunday (Dundee Utd).

    As far as I was aware, he hadn't signed in time for the deadline and therefore would be ineligible for the return leg. Can anyone shed some light on this?

    It said on teletext that he may play on tuesday but i thought the same as stoogie i didn't think he signed in time

    No he can't he missed this round of player registration where Paul Telfer just made it it had to be in after the sporting match.

    He will be able to play in the groups though.

    I didn't think he had registered in time, that's why I was surprised by Strachan's comments.

    It's a bit worrying if he's in Strachan's plans for Tuesday when he can't play!

    even if he did sign in time, work permits for Asian players will always take longer to process.....he won't get confirmation until Thursday at soonest if reports are to be believed. So he won't play against A-Brata.

    I was of the opinion that there were several deadlines for playing in the qualifying rounds and that he had missed this one but if miracles happen will be eligible for the next - but i wholeheartdly agree with the above post - why arent the club giving us this information to try and generate some enthusiasm
