    What do you guys think about Roy Keane to replace strachan....
    There is something in the boiling, Niall Quinn was quoted in the paper he was worried aboutKeane being snapped up by a bigger club. A chance to manage a team he loves in europe (possibly) as long as this self destruct mind set comes to an end....

    Well just imagine any manager who needed two goals to go through to the last 8 of the cl and would they have put out the team and employ the same tatics as GS, Worst defence ive seen and we defend against perhaps the best team in the world
    1-0 down to rangers in a must not lose match and we never put on a extra striker.

    Roy keane, big eck anybody would have done better, infact any celtic fan would have done better.

    Its amazing how the obvious is not obvious to our manager

    I can see why Quinn would be worried about losing Keane. While Keane has made some very bad mistakes in the transfer market this season overall he has worked wonders at Sunderland. Taking them from bottom of the championship to the title and promotion and now unless something highly unlikely happens they will stay up.

    Having said all that Keane is clearly still learning his trade as a manager and I don't think he will leave Sunderland in the summer either for Celtic Park or for anywhere else.

    The players would actually want to play for Keane, they'd have to or they'd be out the door! Would like him in the hotseat eventually, dunno if he's ready for a huge job here though.

    I just do not see Strachan getting sacked. But certainly for me as things stand now if Strachan does go Davie Moyes would be the perfect man for the Celtic job.

    Good shout but we would have to wait till the summer.:38:

    Martin Jol and Sam Allardyce are looking for work. Big Sam might be a decent shout as he did wonders with Bolton on a restricted budget.

    I wouldnt mind any of those mentioned...but what about Tony Mowbray. He got Hibs and West Brom playin and scorin plenty of goals and has a good eye for players. Also, he knows about Celtic and Scottish football.
    I think he would be a smart appointment.
