Roberts joked about stand-in skipper Stuart Armstrong’s huddle pep talk compared with the banned Scott Brown’s style.

He said: “Stu’s a little posh boy so he was quite posh. It was a good speech.

“It’s not Broony, but all the boys out there are leaders and we got the performance.”

He's going to show the EPL what it takes to perform well in Scotland just like everyone else who have underestimated our players, if he's given the chance (which I doubt) he'll tear that league apart. It is possible Pep might see the depth in him though, he does like creative players. I wish he would spend another year or two here under Brendan and playing for us, he'd have so much respect and learn so much. But apart from the money, his ambition will probably be too strong for him to stay.

I think because he's English as well, people down here are excited about him. He's had a successful loan period, scored against his parent club in the CL...he'll go back as a treble winner and with CL experience.

Don't get me wrong I'd love nothing more than to see Paddy signing permanently, in fact it would be the signing of the century for us..

    He came here as a 12M player. He's leaving a 30M player.

If anything its a great example of how we can take young raw talent and mould it into real class. Ajax used to hold this position in europe, now we are starting to claim it. Young professionals with talent will look at roberts, dembele and tierney and realise that this is the place to be.

He didn't come here as a £12m player and he's nowhere near a £30m player now.

He came here as a young boy with potential, with a media inflated price tag that was heavily based on incentives, for when he perhaps did become a "£12m player".

Is he even a £12m player now? Arguably yes, arguably no. He'* form now, but for substantial parts of the season Forrest rightly kept him out of the team. After his brilliance last season, I actually expected a little more from him this season, I'm glad it's now happening for him.

FYI, I probably would take him for around £12m if offered. His talent will be hard to replace on our normal budget and also hard to find.
