anyone non protestant or white is a target, english *'s have broadened the spectrum of people who's throat they wanna slit, so innocent catholics are targets, especially if there's only 2 of them and 80 *

I think I am ight in saying that Catholics were about 5th on Hitlers list. My old RE teacher told me that, so it must be correct.

i think u mean Sinn Fein, they have let the people down. There is people running amoke in the streets of Belfast and all them boys are worried about is there next pay packet from Stormont.

They always blame the peelers now, after years of not wanting to know them, its about time the local people in Belfast stand up against these f**kers - its a disgrace!!!!!

Just for an update the fella with his throat cut used to live in Glasgow, he is still in a critical condition, the other guy has since signed himself out of hospital and is recovering well

having lived in Belfast for over 40 years i can almost certainly tell you that those * wont be caught. cctv pictures wont come out, no one saw anything, probably nazis from england. you'll hear them all. fact is, the cops who are looking for them probably wear hun shirts under their uniforms. Peace............my bollocks. nothings changed, if your catholic your fair game.

Funny old world isn't it when today we hear a story about a Celtic fan (a nurse) going to the aid of a female Rangers fan who had suffered a brain haemorrhage after the OF game. Both sets of fans were watching the game quite happily in the same pub when she became ill and despite attempts at resuscitation the poor women died. Life is too * short and I for one thank * that some things supercede all the hate and bile.

No way those * found their way to Castle St without directions.I heard there were bunch of Section F * with them. They made their way from McHughs to Castle St which is a fair distance and the bar staff in McHughs had called the PSNI to warn them..And they still weren't intercepted...

Is the Bhoys cafe still there Clagan?

the cafe isn't there mate. to be fair its a straight line from mc hughs to castle street but i'm sure linfield fans will have given them directions to the nearest celtic bar. how 40 skinheads can walk through town on a saturday and not be spotted is beyond me

    Loyalists shouted neo-* slogans
    The Irish News 31/03/08

Neo-* slogans were shouted along with sectarian insults by those involved in Saturday afternoon’s attack, witnesses said.

The gang, some of whom had English accents, were said to be dressed in black baseball caps and jackets and shouted ‘Combat 18’ as they approached the bar.

The Combat 18 group – which takes its name from the fact that * leader Adolf Hitler’s initials were the first and eighth letters of the alphabet – has been responsible for violent attacks on ethnic minorities and immigrants in Britain and has also been linked to football violence. It has also been known to have sought to establish links with loyalist paramilitaries in Northern Ireland.

Sinn Fein assembly member Fra McCann said the attack was sinister.

“It doesn’t surprise me that these people were shouting about Combat 18. This attack was well organised with descriptions of men dressed in black,’’ Mr McCann said.

“There have been connections with ultra right-wing groups and loyalists for years and they are active around football in other areas.”

Belfast Lord Mayor Jim Rodgers condemned the violence, describing it as “appalling, sickening and disgusting”.

“It besmirches the good name of Belfast. No right-thinking football supporter would be involved in this nonsense. There are not enough police on the ground and too few police in Belfast city centre,” he said.

In a statement last night Cliftonville FC stressed that the violence did not involve any of their supporters.

The Irish Football Association condemned the attack.

Cliftonville manager Eddie Patterson was sent a bullet in the post last week. The package was intercepted at a sorting office. A PSNI investigation is under way.

The news was only released after Saturday’s cup semi-final in which Linfield beat Cliftonville by two goals to one. It was condemned by Linfield boss David Jeffrey.

Although the game passed off peacefully, there were reports that a UVF flag was flown in the crowd.

The leadership of Sinn Fein are only out for themselves, they are making so much money for themselves now they have forgotten about the working class republican community who put them in power.
