The way I see it with Roberts, he'll have to decide where he's playing next season immediately, if he hasn't already done so. I want him at Celtic, he can be one of the first names on the team sheet, Celtic is a great place for him to improve, and he can improve Celtic in the European games for seasons to come. He's getting the opportunity by playing regularly at Celtic, and England u'21 caps. He won't force his way into the City first team, so the best choice would be Celtic or loaned out to another club. Having Rogers I think could swing it for us.

I enjoy watching him play and want Celtic to buy him. What I don't like is giving a loan player more game time than a committed member of the squad, such is the importance of building for the qualifiers. In which case, if Roberts tells us what he wants to leave, I would much rather one of our own like Mackay-Steven get as much game time as possible, and given that opportunity until the end of the season. Mackay-Stevens can be great to watch, give him a decent run of games, Rogers can bring out his best.

Think some are being harsh on him. One thing he always gives you is an option and an attacking outlet. He won't go hiding and is constantly looking for the ball.

Folk need to remember he is only 19. Talk of him lacking intelligence, making the wrong decisions etc...well, he is a young player. That is guaranteed.

Forrest will probably come back in eventually but remember he is 25 and is only now showing a decent level of consistent form. 6 years difference between the two. Just a shame we probably won't see Roberts develop here for that long.

He is nowhere near the finished article but the talent and potential he has is insane. We'd, in fact, we will, definitely miss a player like him, without doubt.

Was like a man playing against 5 year olds when he came on.

We need to replace him with similar quality ( even on loan again ). Having that type of quality on the bench is why we are invincible. We need to maintain the level of this squad.

We'd be daft not to put an offer in for him, he showed today what a difference he can make.

Seems like Paddy is a better option than Forrest for the big games, think he would of done a lot more damage than Forrest had he started.

I thought I seen him going to shake someone's hand but put his hand behind his head (first 2 minutes of extra time). Anyone else see it?

Does what he does, his through balls and eye for a defence splitting pass are a thing of beauty at times, some vision.

Played a few of them against BMG away and also played a belter for Armstrong against Motherwell and then again today and has done loads of others.

Really baffling that Forrest starts ahead of him considering Roberts is the superior footballer. Would love to bag him permanently sadly that seems a long shot though.

He's a better player than Forrest and he never hides. Was excellent when he came on today, tries to win everything, even headers. Would love to get him permanently.

Hardly baffling when Forrest has been in good form for most of the season and presses and defends far better

Hope Paddy stays. I think he would love to stay here. The only problem might be getting a deal done with city. Buy Paddy but they get a buy back clause in the deal.

    This.

Roberts did well when he came on but let's say it like it is, Forrest has been far better this season. I really like Roberts and I'd * love it if we signed him but too often he's flashy with little end product.

Forrest was poor from the start today - should have been replaced earlier. Roberts made all the difference and should have played from the start

Thought Forrest, like the rest, picked his game up considerably second half. Paddy, however, was different class.

It's the Dembele/Griffiths debate only with shorter people in a wider area. Both very good players, happy to have them both
