Mate you should go on the subreddit r/books or r/suggestmeabook and search the two genres. That or go on goodreads and search the genres and it'll give you the highest rated books with a little synopsis that'll really tell you what its about.

Every thread will say you have to read Dune though. I've got it but haven't started it yet.

    Everybody says it's * incredible.

To anyone who enjoys Cormac McCarthy I recommend William Gay and his two novels The Long Home, and Provinces of Night. Both an absolute pleasure to read and had me thinking sometimes I was reading a McCarthy novel, not in a plagiarist way.

I read The Road recently and found it pretty hard work but it's had pure rave reviews everywhere I've checked, maybe I'm missing something.

That is a pity man, really love his stuff, The Road isn't my favourite though. I love Suttree and Outer Dark. Would only recommend Suttree if you were a massive fan, but Outer Dark you may enjoy. Just to let you know none of his books offer happiness haha.

Not long finished iniestas book. Was a decent read, but after the first few chapters it got quite repetitive I feel.
Helped increase my love for the guy, truly is of the best ever midfielders.

Back to finishing off harry potter for the billionth time.
