    We have a tea thread.

So can't be not having a toast thread.
Jaysus i love a bit of toast.

Needs to be slightly toasted with a heap of butter dripping aff her hi.

Toast should never be served cold or overly toasted.

Nicer when toasted on just one side also.

Also soda toasted or the heel of a batch loaf wins.

    Lovely toast.

Lightly toasted bread (pick your favourite) not overdone can open up a whole world of snacktastic opportunitues

Yesterday at the office I had two slices of seeded bread with grated seriously strong cheddar as a toast sandwich at around 3pm as I was a bit peckish
Can't beat heaps of melted butter on toast as a stand alone standard superstar of the snack world
I like toast with grated cheese and ham as a sandwich (distinctly different from a toastie)

Aye just golden. Not too much butter, just enough for it all to melt - bar that last corner where you wiped the knife. Some thickly cut cheese, along with your cup of tea. Splendid.

The heel of batch bread (Brennans) smothered with real butter is immense.

You have to work like a ninja to get the butter onto both slices whilst it's still warm.

I normally curl the butter onto a knife in preparation for the toaster popping.

Prefer Toast out of the grill than the toaster.

I like it with butter dripping off it, and i even like cold toast if its gone a wee bit soft with the butter.

Toast n cheese at least once a week, and toast n scrambled eggs at least twice a week for me.

Better in the grill, plain bread (mothers pride etc) doesn't fit fully in my toaster cause it is a long rectangular shape, so have to flip it over at some point.

A serious flaw with the vast majority of toasters. You think they'd try and tailor their product to the product that gets used with it :56:

From a young age I was perplexed by that, toast with a half inch of bread at the top of it.

Plain bread toasted is fantastic, just wish they sold it down here, great with scrambled eggs.

Too much butter and it's ruined tbh, although it's important to butter round the edges for that super toast experience.

Wholemeal bread, lightly buttered, with marmite then spread on it.

    Superb.

3 slices, one with Nutella, one with jam and another with honey. Brown wholegrain bread please.

Partial to cheese on toast with butter too. Taking the butter out of the fridge was one of my better decisions in life.

I hope you wipe the knife before using each individual spread?

I like my toast lightly toasted but my ex used to make pretty much warm bread. That's the main reason for her being my ex right now.

Light brown with butter, jam or brussels pate.
