Good. I'm quite looking forward to seeing him get a chance as well. If Rodgers can get him working as hard as Forrest, he'll be a good squad player if nothing else.

I wonder if he can fix him like he did Armstrong in recent weeks. (those two are always tied together in my mind)

I agree with that. Personally I doubt he'll ever be more than a squad player; but I'd love to be proved wrong and he deserves his chance.

Loved his interview when he signed for us, never seen a player look so excited.

GMS has been a stand out the last 2 weeks at training. Yes I know training is totally different to an actual match before the normal negative brigade jump on but if player is showing so much promise consistently for 2 weeks then manager will indeed give him his chance.

Think you will see a very different player to RD reign with Bm given reign to actual drive at defenders at pace. Looking fwd to his chance.

Hopefully he has turned it around under Rodgers, good option to have on the bench.

He has the quality but he is a confidence player which Brendan will give him, then its a case of finding consistency.
I think in the run up to Christmas he'll prove his worth given the chance.

I just can't see him becoming a mainstay under Rodgers, but I hope he does. We need a backup to Sinclair and GMS would be a nice fit to rotate in. Was pumped when we signed him and Armstrong a few January's back, became my favourite player in his first half season. I hope he can rekindle that passion and drive he had in the first season.

For those who are in love.....
Brendan has mentioned him a couple of time's recently now. I imagine if that's inside info, it's true..

I'll be honest, I thought Gms was a good player, and capable of holding down a first team place at the beginning of last year.... However his shitebagness was one of the worst I've ever seen in a Celtic jersey in the 2 each semi. He actively hid and hugged the touchline.... Unforgivable and i wanted him gone..

Having seen some of the transformations in this basically same side though, I've gone back on that slightly, and genuinely think Brendan would like how he play's, as long as he is braver and work's tirelessly..

He's got it in his locker to definitely do a job for us when called upon..

Tempted to throw him in and Shooders on Saturday..

We know he's got good ability, if Brendan can work his magic then you just never know, GMS could well have a part to play, i'd love to see him do well.

Same as all my other posts RR (on updates and transfers) with every single one to date being true before they even hit media, are aired at news conferences etc.... (Sorry not being arsey just that many guess or simply hang about outside certain areas at Parkhead/Lennoxtown for little snippets).

I agree, I think it will be great news to see him back and 'playing with confidence' as almost like signing a new player. Do agree with others though, I honestly don't see him being a mainstay in the team like Sinclair but think he'll be a worthwhile squad player especially with heavy fixtures and an impact player during games/or cover for injuries.

Done a barrel load of work in the gym but he'll never be out muscling fullbacks as simply not in his stature, BUT he is flying at mo (no wings) :).

Agree with this, I was a bit doubtful of him partly because of what McGuire said above and also I thought be might not have the confidence to handle a big club. But he's got talent when he's on form and Brendan does seem to be able to work that confidence magic on players so it would be great to see him play and perform well. Which wing is he best suited to though? I guess if Sinclair is out then now is a good time for him to get a chance on the left with Forrest right?

What I do like is he's stayed and stuck at it even when it must've been looking a bit bleak for him and he's obviously been giving it 100% in training. With that kind of attitude he could be in the right frame of mind to come back.

If he gets him fit, working hard and playing with a smile on his face I think a few people will be surprised at how good he can be.

In flashes he's been brilliant, the rest of the time completely anonymous but there's a player there.

i can see him doing really well under br ,he was good in games under ronny ,chipped in with a decent amount of goals when played,he is a naturally gifted player ,like wee forrest could do with being more aggressive /and physicaly stronger on the ball ,i say watch him go when he gets a chance.

At least deserves a chance if he's been impressing in training. Has only made the bench once all season.
