I'd say Ronny was at fault.. For being a useless *.

Armstrong doesn't offer more now either. Armstrong offers * all. He had one great game on as a sub. Has shown nothing else.

Commons has value to us now. Exact same point as Toure, he offers more now which is why he's ahead of Simunovic in the pecking order.

I think Ronny ruined Commons. Armstrong has the potential to develop. Look at the turnaround of Forrest

I think the argument of look at Forrest is bizarre in terms of Armstrong, it's a few times that it has been mentioned now. Aye, I'm looking at Forrest flourishing under a quality manager and I'm looking at Armstrong playing no different under a quality one.

Always thought it was the left win * under Ronny holding him back. Now I just think it's his ability.

I must have missed Commons playing for the best teams in the world and in European finals.

Commons at his peak was a very good SPFL player but nothing more, he's being made out to be some sort of maverick which is not the case.

You seem to be ignoring your own point in Toure's case. He offers no value in the future, why is he playing?

Hardly. The point I made about Commons offering no value was that he never had the ability to stand out at this level (CL) in the past. Toure obviously has in the past and still can make a difference at this level hence why he offers value.

You said ignore what players have done in the past and you're going on about cup finals ten years ago for Toure :56:

Commons was a key member of the team who got us to the last 16, scored the goal to get us through. Was our only stand out in Europe last year.

He's better than Stuart Armstrong. Period.

I think Commons is done at Celtic now, he doesnt seem the type of player that fits into BRs ideology. I think he has done great for us and will be always be a favourite of many fans but i cant see him getting into the team anymore and no doubt he will either go in Jan or perhaps the summer.

As much as I love Commons, I did feel that circumstances dictated that maybe this was the right time to let him go.

But now, I can't really see the problem with giving him some time on the pitch and seeing how it turns out.

Would be a decent move for him. Good standard of football, while am sure getting a excellent wage...
