Well i do order a fair bit from Amazon and get my Supermarket shopping from Asda Online, which is very handy.
This does make me a bit of a hyprocrite as i am always saying we are getting too modern and using gadgets and avoided traditional shops and markets etc etc
But when you are busy or wanting to save money Shopping on line is fine, and for me there is nothing worse than a packed Supermarket!
So where do you Shop Online??

Grocery shopping is a no no for me. Do you trust them to give you the best sell by date?

Bought a loaf today, there was some loafs with the date 1st September and some with the 3rd September.

What one do you imagine you are getting?

anything that isn't food or clothes i tend to buy online...bought some tools and it was 30% cheaper than b&q.....plus didn't need to spend £6 in fuel to go and get them.

Only ever buy books online, and that's if I'm unable to find them in a book shop. Occasionally I'll get concert tickets online, too, but that's it really.

Always fancied getting my shopping delivered in this hectic life style I live

A few things worry me regarding sell by dates ,Have seen Asda staff loading baskets with the first items in the firing line ,so what's your opinion on sell by dates regarding food you order ?

Amazon for stuff I can't get in the shops like yesterday got the strongest deet mozzy spray as jungle formula in the shops is *.
To be fair in shops I check the price against amazon. Lately it's about the same, or even a couple quid more in a shop I'll buy it. Can't be arsed waiting.
I do buy computer games online mostly as there 10 quid+ cheaper than game.

They all say they give you the best dates possible - its not true. They will pick the first they lay their hands on. And some managers will put pressure on them to not pick the longest dates to get rid of the stock to save it counting as waste in two days. Buy long life tin/boxed cupboard stuff, but anything chilled just go down the shop when you can.
Nice. Will need to give it a look. Prices for stuff up here can be shocking, be nice to find a wee deal every so often

I like buying stuff online, but the missus doesn't 'cause you can't check it for defects, and sending it back is usually fiddly as *. :smiley-laughing002:
