Tierney has been excellent in the tackle. One of the only ones who managed to do so consistently last season, pulling us out of a lot of tight spots.

As for this season, it literally has only just begun and the kid is young. Give it time for him to settle again under new management.

Am I right in saying he'd be the first Costa Rican to pull on the Hoops?

Very attacking full back by all accounts, not known for being great defensively. He'll be our man for Europe since Lustig hasn't got the legs and Janko isn't ready.

He didn't actually say that,he said he would be staying at Everton but I believe they have signed a few players recently at a cost of £50 million and are trying to sign Gabbiadini ,they had a £20 mil bid rejected so far so that might change his mind
    And he wants away

Apart from maybe his decision making, I can't really see any obvious weak spots in tierneys game, and even that can be put down to his young age and will improve over time.

Ridiculous that his place in the team is even being questioned

    http://www.sportinglife.com/football/video/24811/10557453/gamboa-this-is-a-big-opportunity

Gamboa, who joined the Baggies in 2014 from Rosenborg, has won 47 caps for his country and played in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

He would offer competition to Mikael Lustig and Saidy Janko as Brendan Rodgers' side get set for their first Champions League campaign in three years.

The Hoops boss has already recruited Scott Sinclair, Moussa Dembele, Kolo Toure and Dorus de Vries to the Parkhead club this summer.

Speaking in Glasgow, Gamboa told Sky Sports: "I cannot say anything now, so we wait and see.

"I hope (by) the end of the day we have something."

Asked how big an opportunity it could be for a player who has not played much for West Brom recently, he said: "It's big, it's really big" before adding "we hope, we hope, we hope" when asked if the deal was close to getting done.

I'm interested by this one, no nothing of the player but yet find myself a little excited (perhaps it's the cliche of foreign sounding name).

Nice to see RB being considered though, hopefully we can get a CM in on top of this to help control the game a bit better as well.

Never going to happen but would love another GK brought in if we can find someone in the ilk of Forster, someone who wasn't given the time of day at his parent club and just loaned out, youngish, got something to prove.
