There's nothing worse than someone who's nowhere near as clever as they pretend they are. I do love the usage of a thesaurus and a good old quote as if it gives strength to a point of view.

The booing was disgusting, and it's never been something I would do, but it didn't surprise me one bit. Fergus McCann got booed on flag day, and I know he wasn't a player, but he saved us from going under & stopped the huns getting 10iar. I don't get booed when I have an off day at work. Why should they? It's a huge confidence killer. It doesn't help anything.

 

Hate it when * boo a player or even at like half time, happened a few times last season. It does * all but make things worse and kills any confidence of the players since they will think the fans have turned on them.

 

I'm not trying to claim that they weren't Celtic fans, but booing their players isn't supporting the team.

If a player can't take the hint from the constant "awwww for *'s sakes" and "yer * ya *" - or any other like-minded comments, then booing will be no different.........

 

That's something I do agree with, paying fans pump money into the club and players take so much more out. They have to remember that.

But I don't think it justifies booing.

 

Don't think I've ever booed a single player in my life, but I'm no gonna sit and say I don't understand that frustration, as I do..

I absolutely agree with this and share this opinion.

Personally, I think booing is totally lacking in class. Call them all the */*/baldy * under the sun, but keep yer booing for the pantomimes.
