    Good performance overall.

    2nd half once again a bit poorer in comparison to the first which, I suppose, is understandable as fitness deteriates.

    Couple of poor points:

    - Defence still worries me
    - Bit wasteful in front of goal, that is probably more down to slackness in pre-season.

    Great preparation for the domestic season in that the ref let the opposition away with murder. Griff at his best, thought Broony looked more mobile. But slack at the back at times

    Admittedly Ambrose wasn't at his worst however whenever he was seriously tested he looked poor.

    One point in the first half a guy just strolled by him.

    Makings of a good team here. Good going forward, lots of options. But we need a defence badly. Any potential buyers for Efe watching that game and we have him forever, * useless. Good game overall though.

    Good game, we should be more clinical though.

    Defence often gets exploited by our midfielders, because of that we look shaky a bit, but I believe that's up to players who still aren't ready for 90 minutes of giving 100%.

    On Dembele, he looked decent.

    Obviously still getting up to match speed but he showed what he is about in glimpses. The fact he was in the positions to gain a couple of chances was good.

    I thought broony & bitton were awesome tonight. Johansen was nowhere, minimal contribution.
    I honestly was not that impressed with Janko
    Henderson was 'busy' but nothing that screamed 'start me'. Christie again looked really good and could have had at least one, if not two.

    Gordon - pass
    Janko - fail
    Efe - pass
    Sviatchenko - pass
    Tierney - pass
    Johansen - fail
    Brown - pass
    Bitton - pass
    Griff - pass
    Dembele - pass
    Henderson - barely pass but not enough to start next week.

    Subs most notable mentions -
    Christie
    McGregor

    Roberts should have been tearing it up with fresh legs at that stage of game - nothing to shout about. (but we know what he can do - if he shows well on Saturday would be in there)
    Rogic got himself in good positions and is a strong boy. Could have done better with opportunities but held it up & linked well

    Right now, without benefit of seeing how Saturday goes I would say for CL game

    * Convinced he will be here by Friday deadline. Question is whether he will be fit to start in the first game. I'd put Efe in over any of our other choices if not.
