Fair enough I'm not saying he's not worth that kinda cash btw he's a good player and his best form came under Rodgers. If we paid £4m for him it wouldn't bother me although I'd still feel like we've lined Villas pockets.

 

Difference is City were looking to offload him quickly where as we are chasing him, Villa are obviously going to be dicks about it and want more to see how high we'd go.

Well supposedly been offered 2.7 million with add ons taking it to 3.7 over 4 years. But seems villa wanting 3.5 million uo front from what I have heard. Offer 3 million with add ons take it or leave considering they only payed 2.4 million for him and sure what his wages of books as on high wages

 

We may still get this lad but I am glad he hasn't been flown in as a wild card. Brining a guy in, flying him 3000 miles then playing him in this game having not familiarised himself with his team mates and managers tactics would have been fast and loose when what we need are belts and braces. Same goes for Toure, I was really really impressed with OConnel and think he can do the business on Wednesday.

If leicester had been on par with us in fitness and games played and the game mattered like a CL game does the result and game would have been very different.

 

Big difference in the pressures and intensity of a gsme of this importance and a friendly against a team just kicking off their pre season regardless of who they are.
I think if the pitch and temperature isnt as bad as Gilbralter then we have a real shot of getting a positive result. Seems the players are really understand the new formation and style of BRs teams.

Apparently on radio Hun Hugh Keevins has been spouting some * that the Buns have had an offer accepted for Sinclair Some man

Anyhow, I wish we'd hurry up and get this deal done, would love to see him flying down the wing mincing * out of defenders, this is one of the best singings we will make in a long time for me if we get him!
