Does anyone know of a bus/car heading down from the Isle of Skye that has space for the semi-final?

A mate is their for the weekend and struggling to get back down the road!

    Cheers

Wouldn't a ferry to Oban, then a train to Glasgow be the easiest option?

Ferry to Oban then steal away on the Oban CSC bus:56:

If he's from Skye then he will have a better idea than most. There's no CSC. Best bet is megabus straight from portree

As far as I'm aware there is no ferry service from Skye to Oban.

He is from Glasgow, just happens to be up in Skye that week working, bad timing :smiley-laughing002:

Don't know if it's needed but you can get a CityLink bus from Portree Square and it goes straight to Buchanan Street, does take 6 and a bit hours mind you.

    There isn't one. Could try

    1) go to pub and ask if they know of anyone heading to match...they all know each other up there so they may know. I'm guessing he would have better chance if he's based in Portree

    or

    2) Pretty sure Fort William will have a club and if he could get there they may have a bus/space

There is a bus leaving fort william couple of spare seats left, usually leaves about 8 for early kick offs so your mate will need to come down from portree the night before.
