DROSS/cant take anymore (Threads merged)

I have just had the mis-fortune of sitting thorough yet another 90 minutes of total dross. We played with no ability no control and only showed a small amount of urgency. We were out fought outplayed and out manouvered by a well organised and comited Falkirk side who can think themselves very unlucky not to take anything from the game.

The way we are playing at the moment it is like watching a bad junior team. The only good point of the game I just watched was the fact it ended and put me out of my misery.

The players are just not good enough in my opinion but I cannot blame them WGS has bought them.I would have played if given the oportunity and obviously I am not good enough. Without Boruc and some dodgy penalty decisions the league would have been as good as over today.

It is time for the suporters to wake up and realise that the players we are watching are not Celtic class they deserve our suport no doubt but it is time to question weather WGS is the right man to make us better.I think he has taken us as far as he is able and I hope the powers that be will realise this aswell.

 

Sadly, as a fan of over 50 years, I have to agree.

We grind out results, but if you are critical, you are right, we are DROSS.

 

Im sorry to say but i think celtic are fast becoming one of the most boring sides to watch recently, ok the 3 points mattered BUT that was utter crap.

 

only individuals i saw make an impact our; Brown ,Sno and Boruc. I hope WGS will sign a few players after that performance. dreadful.....

thank * i am stuck out in the middle of the north sea, if id have paid to watch that rubbish today id be so angry, i feel sorry for every single person in our end today, if anyone can tell me the answers to these questions id very much appreciate it

why the * was hartley playing at right back when there was a natural right back on the bench?
why was hartley even on the pitch in the first place?
why was caldwell picked again, when o`dea has more talent in an * cheek than he will ever posses?
who in there right mind subsitutes naka for sno?
does gordon strachan even watch the games? gary caldwell twice handballed today, one of them should have been a penalty, everytime he had the ball he punted it upfront and gave falkirk possesion, he is the worst player ive had the misfortune to see in the hoops
no one played well today but that was a disgrace

strachan was never good enough to come to us in the first place, and its well past his time to go, his tactics, buys, and decision making are pathetic, its time for him to go

 

it had a lot to do with player form than player standard. You woulnt swap one falkirk player for one celtic one. Guys like naka, aidan, broon, skippy, naylor anf jvoh can play a lot lot better, even in cl games ffs. Dont turn thos into another anti wgs thread.

although we/celtic won today it seems to me that the performances are getting worse,you would think a wee break or the fact we were 7 pts behind would inspire someone to get the finger out,today falkirk dominated the match and if decicions went there way we would be staring defeat in the face

a dismall performance from a dismal team did i expect any different ? i did at start but it quickly became apparent that we are consistantly * ,and so it goes on,

well on we go to motherwell on wednesday, hopefully we can play well there ,but suppose id settle for a win,

This isnt about anti wgs...but we are playing pish! and he seems to be unwilling to bring fresh faces to the staring eleven to change to the team about and drop guys who are playing pish!!
Guys should be dropped and other guys given a chance coz its just not working.

 

its not an anti strachan thing, hes not good enough to manage us, never has been, its about his team selection, and the players we have to work with, if it was up to me, id rip up the following players contracts today
hartley, caldwell, sno, killen, garveson, mark brown, jarosik, pressley if hes still here, id also pay strachan to end his contract and give tommy burns the reigns

 

You're maybe right Kelts, but i would swap our managers. Hughes would get us organised and playing.
For having the inferior players, he deserved a result.

if all these player would just find top form we would be a very decent side. Its a mystery why they were all off today but they looked off the pace, tired, their touch was very poor and we couldnt string three passes together. its a bit like last season when we just died after we qualified for the last 16Maybe its burn out after all the CL and international games and having no decent back up beyond 13 main players to rotate them.

 

No keltoi, its down to a second rate manager who can't motivate and get the best out of his players.
