I went to school with Lee Evans. He was just the same back in the late seventies/early 80s. "U should be on telly!" we all said.

Al Murray IS just an act. He is basically taking the * out of narrow minded Southern English that are so xenophobic that they only like other Southern English! (And being Southern English meself, i can say that!")

Remember what Sacha Baron Cohen did with Ali G, he was picking on a stereotype.

I think Ricky Gervais is the best stand up. "Fame" is a must see.

Aye Fame is good, he is a master at the facial expression to get a laugh. Funny as * is Gervais. Have you seen that David Brent Microsoft video??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKyV-l8i5lg

I watched him for 10 minutes and believe me it was hard. if it was a parody of a right wing english racist * he was good. so good i switched off. If he's a modern day Alf Garnett then that says it all. Alf Garnett got * off tv for being. em, a right wing racist english *.

Bill Hicks anyone? The most politically aware and frighteningly witty comedian ever. :50:
