    Post match Press Conference

RD: It was a very tough game and we started poorly. We put ourselves 1-0 down but after that we got back again.

RD: We were very effective and today it was one of those days where you have to fight for the points and get through it.

RD: Today we were a bit lucky but we have been very unlucky in the other games. The Hearts game should have been 4-0 to us.

RD: We should have beaten Kilmarnock too but in the end you get what you deserve and I’m happy today that we won.

RD: I’m proud of us after our Europa League games. You struggle when you come back but this year we’ve had four games and 12 points.

RD: That’s very strong so we are learning and we can go into the break now with a lot of opportunities after the national games.

Good win in the end. Not free flowing football but as Ronny mentioned in the post match interview, we've been on a run of games which has demands on the players. It's far from ideal that we can't get a settled 4 at the back as well.

Played well within our capabilities but in the same context we didn't have to after going in front. Hamilton weren't much of a threat, bar free-kicks. Indeed Steven McClean had a stormer for them.

Griffiths produced two pieces of quality, a fine delivery from the set-piece for Boyata and then a magnificent header from what was a well worked goal.

Agreed with Ronny about the constant negativity he has to respond too. Indeed my biggest concern was the woeful inconsistentcy of the officials. Linesman on the dugout side was twice over-ruled by the ref(who was * hopeless). McClean was his usual self with some mystifying decisions at times. Big diddy centre half clattered Janko from behind, easy yellow card and yet nothing. Janko was then booked a couple of minutes later for a jersey pull but so was the Hamilton player. Numerous others but I cannae be arsed typing them.

Anyway, some header from Griffiths and 3 points.

Anyone else feel like we might have been more comfortable on the ball with Efe at the back?

Granted he may have made a mistake at some point and cost but in general play I think we might have been more comfortable.

Either way Simunovic needs to hurry the * up and get fit :smiley-laughing002:

Ronny is right in what he is saying. We are not going to play magnificent football every week, so we need to be able to win ugly at times.

I hope this is something we can do in Europe from now on too though, because this season out ability to see out games at crucial times
    has been what's killing us.

Brutal performance but 3 points otherwise and the gap is closing, tbh Celtic never play well on that surface. Griff is a great striker for Celtic, one of the best ive seen in years, always gives 100%.

Apart from Hooper who has been better than Griff? Scores goals in European games and League games. What else do you want? hes easily the best in years.
