Joe serious question! Do you see any plus points in Deilas work with Celtic so far. What advantages or disadvantages do you take from his time in charge compared to Lennys time? Just interested to hear your views.:38:

It's glaringly obvious what is wrong in our team, so I can't for the * life of me think why it's so hard for Deila to see it.

The entire defence needs reshaped and rebuilt. Get rid of * Ambrose, play Izzy less often and hopefully Simunovic will turn out to be a player when he's fully fit.

We have a good midfield and we don't really have many problems scoring goals, Hearts being the exception at the weekend. Even then, Griffiths put the ball in the net and it's debatable as to whether it should have stood or not.

Just sort the * defence and work on making it better, and we'll have the makings of a fine team. * me, it's hardly rocket science.

at 2-0 we failed too go for the jugular, right after commons scored i think it was 3 mins till efies "mistake", in those mins we should have gone all out to seal it in the 1st half, i.e, game over.

The Ambrose factor is getting very old, the amount of slack efie has had over the years defies belief.his time at Celtic is up imo.and as for the score for the thumb at 5, jees oh 5, really, thumb 8.his goal is worth 3 at least. .:celt_2:

Tierney signalled to the bench he needed to come hence why he did. Forrest was holding his leg as well which is why he came off. Johansen looked to be limping was * anyway so he came off. Stop talking *.

It's the manager, coaches fault that he plays. Players get the manager the sack....delia deserves the boot if he keeps playing Calamity Jane here..but one problem managers leave but the Worst players keep their jobs !!!

    Post match interview from Ronny

RD: We played very well in the first-half. We went 2-0 up and it was important to keep that lead going into the break.

RD: Then we conceded an easy goal and that gave them energy and put us on the back foot a little bit.

RD: In the second-half, they got the goal from the set-play and, again, it was disappointing that they scored with the two chances they had.

RD: I’m disappointed that we didn’t win but I’m happy that we got the point and the group is still very open.

RD: I think we had very, very good control of the game in the first half but as a defender you have to keep concentration for 90 minutes.

RD: You see that when we believe in ourselves and dare to play football that we’re a very good team and that’s what we need to do more often

RD on 1-1 draw between Molde & Ajax: 'That’s a good result. The group is very open. It’s in our hands and we can do it.'

RD: We have to take the positives from the game. I’m very happy with Kieran Tierney tonight. He had a very good European debut.

RD: Scott Brown was fantastic in the midfield, working really hard and keeping the team together.

RD: James Forrest – what a work-rate and what a difference we can see in him now compared to six months ago.

RD: I also have to give credit to the fans who created a fantastic atmosphere - a great night in many ways but disappointing we didn’t win.

Lot of people taking shots in random directions here. Fact is, Ronny's tactics were perfect first hjalf, the team out in a great disciplined performance.

Fener were toothless, there manager was stressing out on the the touchline. If we had went in 2-0, our morale would be high, there's would be low.

Unfortunatelyt Efe happened but some of you need to clam down and think logically instead of lashing out at the defence or Deila. Fener didn't threaten at all until the mistake

That's either 6 or 7 times we have given away the lead this season and bottled it, there's a reoccurring theme going on with this team, inability to defend set pieces and see out games, why are neither being sorted out

Unfortunately not. Celtic, especially Celtic with no real domestic competition, is no place for a rookie manager. Much as I loved Lenny as a player, he should never have gotten the job.

I also wasn't too keen on Strachan. Both Lenny and Strachan did well to get us to the last 16 of the CL. But for me Celtic needs an experienced manager who is prepared to just do the simple stuff.

When the work of a good leader is done, the people say they did it themselves. Rookie managers can't accept this, so the * about with things in the hope that something will work and they can claim the credit

    can't disagree

but lennon kept playing him aswell

we can all see that the stupid * can play when his heads in it, but he just lets himself the team and club and fans down all the time!

someone has to pull the plug for the sake of the rest of the players or there will be disharmony in the changing room, there's already disharmony in the stands has been there for * ages :smiley-laughing002:

Tierney played great given the situation.
Lustig was pretty good after a horrible match in Amsterdam, some of his passes were incredible.
Forrest had a decent game - didn't expect that.

Overall, I think at points we had some crisp, delicious passing, although maybe too many passes along the back line at times.
I feel robbed that we didn't win, more so than against Ajax. Felt we played better tonight than a fortnight ago.
There is definitely something wrong in our players heads, once we get a lead, its almost as if we panic, like winning is a real possibility, so then its like we get lost and don't know what to do. You could just feel that they would get a goal, its the same story with Celtic.

Having said all that, a lot of people were happy with a draw at home against fenerbache when the draw was made, although in my personal opinion, we should be sitting top of the group with 6 points. Individual mistakes in both games have cost us big time.

There's no denying this was one of our best performances in Europe this season. Sure, we were at home, but look at their squad compared to ours. Still optimistic for this group.

Sorry about the thumbs down, was meant to be thumbs up. Surely your point of no competition contradicts your point of it being no place for a rookie. I think the opposite. It was definaetly the right time for a rookie to be bedded in. Also Ronny is working with strict restraints. Even more so than Lenny was. And WGS was charged with downsizing. But still not on this level. I personally think Deila does a decent job with what he's got at his disposal and although his timing isn't always great, he is learning on his feet. He has set the team up well twice now in Europa and totally controlled Ajax and Fenerbache in spells. It's just we lack that standard of player who can take us over the line. Not all the managers fault. Surely you can see this. Rather than just aiming criticism that is unfounded a great deal of the time!:50:

Don't worry, Ur team is very good. The team chemistry is really high. But if I compare u with Molde. Molde is like a machine. Whatever the score is, they do what they suppose to do. But Ur team's morale after the 1st fernandao goal, decreased. Even we felt it on TV. So did the supporters in the stadium.
U have a good team, maybe there is not a fancy squad to save the day as u witnessed tonight like us(rvp and persie was bad, but we still had Diego and fernandao) , u have warriors. U just need commander in the field.

For the amount of money your team has spent, by * are they *.

Took 2 mistakes for you to score goals, with 'world class' attackers? Bit embarrassing really.

Diego was quite impressive when he came on, to be fair.

The point about no competition, is that before the huns died people would devalue winning the SPL by saying it was just a two horse race. Now it's seen as just a one horse race.

Therefor rookie managers have to try and show that it's about them, and not about the lack of opposition.
Look at tonights comments. Ronny feels the need to point out that Forrest is a better player than 6 months ago.

I think it is nothing to do with the world class players. It is to do with the coach. Ur coach is way too better than ours..
Yes we spent money but the team is only 3 months old. Come on. We need more time. But again, our coaching and staff is terrifying. Wish Ur coach was ours..

Barca lost 4-1 last week, do u think they are emberassed?
