Yeah we went through a bad patch, but the last two games we scored 5 conceding 0. All this pish that we are scared of the huns makes me laugh. We were back to winning and not conceding and I was gutted not to get them at that point. As was posted earlier its who finishes top that matters.

i cant see why every body thinks "weve had our bad spell now" true we have had a bad spell

to think that its over now ,you could be wrong, but the certainty of people thinking its a given that we will automatically get better is "to be polite" wishful thinking

if celtic can turn on the performances at will ,then i am the pope ,teams cannot play that way

whos to say this isent our good spell ,what im saying is we need to get the finger out quickly or it will be 2nd best

Mate, Celtic are the best footballing side in Scotland and that is a fact. We have missed Boruc when he was out, a proper defence all season, our playmaker nearly all season and JVOH at times this season. We have signed a German international for RB, got Boruc secured, Naka will be back and JVOH is looking more like his old self. We are in a not too bad position considering and when we click we can and will be unstoppable. Keep the faith.
The huns being top by a single point while we have been poor really shows the strength of them. Don't believe the hype that the media have spun. If Rangers were that good then they would be more than a point in front. We can improve a lot while I don't think they have much more to offer.

    Top post :50:

    Just want to add:
If Rangers were that good they could be in the last 16 of the CL with us.

    Inspiring stuff Dylan:50:

But,lets not kid ourselves, the defence has been poor this season as you pointed out.The signing of Hinkel is a positive step and he looks to have a decent pedigree.I hope a quality centre back is arriving this month tough, that is the top priority.

Rangers are not a great side, but they are stronger than last year so we cant afford too many periods like last month. If we get another 2 or 3 quality signings in January,we should be too strong for them.

I agree, lets get positive here.

A glitch in our season so far was down to just a few things.

Mark Brown in nets, Pressley not playing his best, having to bring conroy in at the back, it surely now has been resolved.

    boruc
    Hinkel caldwell McManus Naylor

Im sure it will improve dramatically.

First post here, go easy :icon_mrgreen:

mate ,im no arguing with u ,but if we missed boruc and we were without a defence ,our play maker * by injury ,just got the german and jovh u thinks getting better
is any of that rangers fault,eh you're post tells me we cant cope because we dont have the players
we are second and its all our own doing,if we won the inverness game while 2-0 up,and beat hibs and stmirrin at home,it wouldent matter how many games rangers have in hand,,

if we cant cope through a bad spell, whos faut is it,,and remember this bad spell as u put it could cost us the title

The bad spell we went through has forced us from top yes. But (and their has to be a but, right), I 100% believe that with a full squad we will be too good for the huns. We have to still play them 3 times and thats 9 points up for grabs. The situation just now could have been a lot better but we can only work from here. Man for man we have more quality so I fully expect us to rectify the situation at the top soon enough.
Your quoting games that have not went to plan with us, but if you look at the huns, they have games where they shouldn't have won. They played * (as usual) and won. The one where the Hearts keeper done a Craig Gordon comes to mind. Pure luck, plain and simple. Luck will run out for them as it duly does and they will drop points.
    Keep the faith.
I cant argue the players have let themselves down on occasion, but I have the faith in their ability to turn it on when it matters. Milan at home springs to mind, after they scored we found a way to push on for the win. We can and will push on in this title race, we are the Champions, we know the dance.

    chill guys.

    Its positive thinking thats all.

and its good to think like that, and we can reclaim topspot in early 08 im sure of it.

We have a solid backline in comparison to mid decembers defence, and all it takes is a little upset for the huns to fall off.

Yeah, with the injurys going away, and new signings ahead, WGS will find a way.

    Without a doubt.

Spartak Moscow, AC Milan, Benfica (both performances actually) and Shaktar.

All supposedly bigger, better, more expensive squads all 4 left Parkhead with their tails between their legs.

I'd say the exact opposite of what you're saying, some people are actually deluded into thinking we're bad for some reason.
