At what rate? We'll beat St Johnstone this weekend, life will continue, we'll win the league, hopefully win a cup or two and we still have some European football to look forward to.

We will bounce back from this, hopefully a decent run in the EL.

The drop in money is going to cripple us though, especially with the amount BT are throwing at it.

    This is a * disaster.

To be fair Sean, none of the money made would have been spent on the team anyway. The only people this will affect are the shareholders really.

We'll punt Virgil, spend a million or two on a replacement, and maybe bring in another loan signing or two. Which is what we'd have done had we made it through probably.

I hope so. It would be unwise to just not address this as its 2 years in a row we've missed out on that kind of cash now. Make sure it doesn't happen again.

Wonder if we'll ever find out who this big name striker was, we were going to sign if we reached the CL ?

Too much money to loose over a poor performance

When other leagues start the season with it

What would we have spent though?? 30 million in to the club, how much would that have been re invested in the team?? * Lawell we are talking about. Europa League or Champions league we would still see * all being spent.

It depends on what you mean by "bounce back". If you mean getting out of the Europa group, then yes, we probably will, if we get a decent draw like last year. But nothing I've seen tonight indicates an improvement over last year against Maribor. Same fear, same inability to actually play some football and create chances, and same * defending. Sure, we played well against Inter when there wasn't much pressure on us at all, but when it comes to the decisive qualifiers, we * it like we did last year.

Janko's rapid yet tonight he dilly dallyed on the ball afraid to run past his man. Brown and Bitton are supposted to control the midfield yet were careless and slack in their passing. Van Dijk and Boyata especially were nervous and couldn't deal with their attackers. And Griffiths was left up top with almost nothing because Johansen, Armstrong, Commons etc failed to produce the goods.

We must now accept that for this current team getting to the CL is a privilege rather than a right. It's sad, but it's the truth because we simply aren't good enough.

You wont like to hear this probably, but you will improve when Rangers get back into the SPL. Your rivalry drives your team to perform better and your board will be forced to hold on to more of your top talents. Right now you can win the league comfortably with not a lot.

Board will continue to spend like a league 1 club and we will get early exits in cups and win the league. Sick off all the hope we get all the time in games we play etc. we are turning into a laughing stock at this rate with 2nd consecutive season without champions league in a row. * you Lawwell. We have a manager burning with passion and we don't give him enough money for the players he specifically wants and were going to sell VVD. * help us
