29 year old Spanish Internationalist, scorer of better than a goal every 2 games in La Liga/Premiership over 2 and a bit seasons.

    Too raw.

Would definitely take this guy. I think people rightfully questioning his attitude over the way he has went about things last couple of years but maybe the realisation that he still hasnt got a new club and they arent exactly lining up for him either is exactly the kick up the * the guy needs to return to that sort of form he showed in his first year for swansea. Even the year before in spain he was class. Would take him in a heartbeat.

It's a dodgy one. Pure risk, potential high reward is.....a striker with shin splints to play the high pressing game? Did he go out on loan injured last season? Seems a bit of a dramatic turnaround in the guys career. Although he has spent so much time out last season, you'd like to maybe hope he's had enough time to recover. If he came in and stayed fit, it could be a smashing deal.

If he's injury prone now I'd leave it! Enough of that sort already!

Converted AMC or not, he was the dugs jugs as the main man up top for Swansea in his first season. Loan deals are a great move. Already got two potentially first choice strikers so this negates the risk of buying a third one and paying for two to sit on the bench. Would also offer us a bit of variety as he's a big lad. Wouldn't say an out and out target man, not that dominant in the air if memory serves, but tall, strong and a bit silky, can finish and can link up.

In games where it's tight, dropping him in alongside one of the other two up top could work well.
Provided his wage contribution is sensible, this could be a coup

    Shin splints? :56:

Possibly but I doubt 'a few folk' know his medical history intimately.

By all accounts, after his injury woes prior to him joining Napoli, he started very well with them.

There are ways to secure ourselves against paying out fortunes for a crock regardless, namely low weekly wages with high appearance fees.

Id take him on loan with us covering half his wages (40/50k apparently).
Really think that would be the best move for all 3 parties involved. Very little risk involved in that.

As I said, I know a few people close to Swansea. Granted, they aren't medical professionals at the club, but they speak to the medical team quite frequently so their opinion is informed in some respects.

He's never been able to hit a good patch of form since he badly sprained his ankle in December 2013, so it's hard to discount that from being a possibility.

Don't know what accounts you are reading regarding his Napoli spell, 3 games he managed with them. One 5 minute sub appearance and 2 matches where he lasted 70 minutes without having done much of note.

The rest of the season he was out with injury, periostitis which again could have been linked to his ankle troubles

Get him in as well as a new left back, looking ok for the groups. Gotta get the job done Tuesday first though. :50:

What a delightful signing this would be. Big scorer in the EPL, he can surely do the job here.

He would be a brilliant signing.

    In a paper aeroplane.

To be honest though, I think it's all a Michu do about nothing if you ask me.

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
Rumours he is being dumped on a free. I would take a punt on him to be honest. Risk / reward. . . Big wage but he could be brilliant and experience not an issue.
