    i would welcome a move for kewell as even though he is inury prone he can score and create goals from the midfield which is what we need,especially if we want to progress even further in the champions league

    exactly. I think its generally accepted that two 1st team wingers is not enough. He could give either Naka or Aidan a break/ competition (Aidan would switch to the right when its Naka resting). I quite like the idea. He is some player when fit. I agree that he needs a partly appearances based contract.

    Useless good for nothing, robbing *.

    Has all the ability in the world but has a self centred stinking attitude. Amazing how he manages to get fit for CPL finals but can’t be bothered pushing himself for the bread and butter of the league.

    If we sign this Aussie it will be a massive 40K a week blunder the guy will spend most of his time at Ross Hall having his trivial knocks pandered after.

    No thanks.

    They won us the league and I hold my hands up as they have both done a fine job.

    However they were not bought to replace Donati and Brown as first team players they were bought for the squad.

    IMO you buy to improve the team not to fill out the squad as they were meant.

    It just so happend they have proved themselves to be the best option we have for the first team.

    For the record though I would still like to see a better quality of player in the middle of the park next season.

    Would you not?

    Than Barry Robson? Nope he'd be one of the first names on my team sheet next season and if you watched the last 7 games you'd see quite clearly why. I'd also say Hartley is fine as well but if you want to make a step up in the Champions League a genuine class holding midfielder is required.
