    Pfft... you obviously havnt seen him at his best then. He is quite simply one of the best Australian players ever to play the game. Although his injurys have ruined his career.

    bresciano is the best aussie player apart from skippy IMO. does a very unglamorous but incredibly important job for the team. he plays for a good team in serie a while kewell sits in the stand watching an underachieving liverpool squad struggle, what good is a player thats always injured, kewell has done * all since he went to liverpool he's still living off the reputation he gained at leeds

    Aye he is way too much of a gamble on the fitness stakes. He would spend more time in the injury room than on the park. Always has since he left leeds.

    Harry Kewell is set to sign for Celtic this summer after being told by Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez that he can leave Anfield.
    The 29-year old Australian is heading for Glasgow, with Liverpool calling time on his injury-blighted five-year stay on Merseyside.
    Celtic boss Gordon Strachan has been closely monitoring Kewell's situation. It is understood preliminary talks have taken place already and that the former Leeds star is prepared to move his family to Scotland.
    Kewell - the youngest player ever to gain a cap for his country - has also asked Benitez to be released for a training camp in Singapore, with national boss Pim Verbeek naming him in his squad preparing for a March 26 World Cup qualifier in China. ​

    this move stinks of desperation, why do we need harry kewell? he's done nothing since he's been at liverpool and is still living off the reputation he gained at leeds. i'd rather have adam virgo back tbh
