My Dad's got a Picasso and a Stradivarius, not worth much though. Stradivarius couldn't paint and Picasso made * violins :55:

Got a * binocular. With the swastika and the eagle.

My grandfather found it in a field during the war and took it as his, since the Carl Zeiss optics were ace :50:

Bret 'The Hitman' Hart's wraparound pink sunglasses.

I've no idea how much they're worth nor would I be able to prove their authenticity other than with the word of my uncle or cousins who were there when he gave me them but they're probably the most interesting thing I own.

original M41A pulse rifle used in the Aliens film, so i am told. No way of proving this but it looks good and is amazingly heavy. quite badly scuffed and was told it was used by Hicks in the film. serial numbered and has the film cast on the stock. got it from a childhood best friend who is now very wealthy and well known. told it could be worth a grand or two in the right auction but i would never part with it.

Here's a photo of my binocular.

My family also own a cupboard with a bullet hole from a german bullet in it. Which is kind of rare in Norway, cause there wasn't that much [sic] shooting going on.

I have an old telescope in a leather case used by early sailors in my family :celt_2: I also got a rare edition of the history of Greenock with a very rare pull out map of the original waterways in the area. I bought it years ago and to be honest the book stinks to high heaven and is at present in the hands of my elderly cousin who's 87 and loves all that stuff. I also have the huge family bible. I've never been interested in the value of any of them as they're more of a sentimental value to me. We have a miscellany of many other things within the family including * shaped tools used by cabinet makers and shoe repairers. I seem to end up with everything eventually being custodian of the family history :celt_2:

That's great, usually you have to go on sites like Stormfront if you want to buy or sell * stuff.

Collect books, 1st editions and the like. Got a few James Ellroys before he was famous so limited print run, got him to sign them a few years ago and was told they're worth a few grand so when he pops his clogs should be worth a fair few bob.

My dad kept all his Beatles records for years thinking they'll be worth money one day. Got them valued last year and was told they're not worth that much - in the old days records sold tens or hundreds of thousands not like today so they're not that rare unless they're signed, collectable or numbered. My old man was gutted to say the least.

True Story.....My dad before he passed away had a vase which had been given to him by an elderly neighbour with a German stamp and 1726 on it. When he passed and we were divvying up stuff my brother told me to take it and sell it on if l wanted. Down the auction house to get it valued to be told l'd be lucky to get £15 for it. 1726 must have been the time it was made :54: Turned out my dad had already had it valued and my * brother knew this :smiley-laughing002:
