Would say Ciftci is better overall, they have similar styles but Ciftci using his body so well.

The worrying thing is, you can imagine someone on here being deadly serious about that.

Ciftci will be fine. As for pressure, a little is healthy. Keeps the players on their toes. If Ciftci isn't doing the business, you can bet Leigh Griffiths will be ready to take back the striker role.

Yes, stronger and maybe little quicker but are there any meaningful differences. Just now I don't find. After more games under his belt I may know more.

Good win for Celtic. :50: Happy to see Janko played well. :50:

I'd say being stronger and being able to hold up the ball IS a significant difference. It's probably the one reason that Stokes is no good upfront himself.

manager Ronny Deila speaking to the media after today's 2-0 win over @staderennais

RD: I’m pleased with the attitude and performance. There are always things we can do better but overall it was a good performance.

RD on Charlie Mulgrew: Hopefully he’ll be ready for Wednesday.

RD: There were a few dangerous tackles but overall it was OK.

RD on Stefan Johansen: Stefan was a little stiff in his back. He had that before the game in Iceland. Mika we are dealing with.

RD on @Leighgriff09 :Leigh answers me every game he plays whether he starts or from the bench.

RD: It’s Celtic Football Club that wins games and he has a great attitude. He gives 100% and in the end he’ll get paid for that.

RD: There’s a chance we’ll go with him on Wednesday. He’s scoring every game he plays so it’s hard to not.

RD on playing @FKQarabagh :It’s hard for Qarabag as well as they’ve never played against us either.

RD: "We know we’ll meet a good team but we’re up for it and I think we’re ready for it."

Thank * that is the last of our "friendlies" finished with and we can get onto regular games with maybe a few less heavy challenges in them.

Just back from the game thought we played well in the first half and the reserves moved the ball well in the second. Good to get a clean sheet as well , thought boyata played very good as well.

Griffiths has to start on Wednesday. I'll be seriously disappointed if he doesn't

Cifti, Stokes, Grifiths - all decent squad players that will score i the * SPL but does anyone feel confident going into Europe with just that trio up front?
We need to be spending a few million (or loan) on someone with a proven record and is class.
Guidetti ticked all those boxes - such a pity that he turned into a hufffy wee *.

The commentator with Packie Bonner on sportsound said Ronny was furious and went to have a word with Steven McLean at half time..
Defies belief how that wee Hun * is anywhere near officiating a Celtic game. Brought in the back door for a nice wee friendly to see the reaction

    Was any Rennes players booked?

Griffiths has worked his * off and showed real improvement, quality and a willingness to play for our club. To write him off and claim he doesn't compare to a guy who had one good season in the Eredivisie is incredibly unfair.
