    Hi there,

I am a PhD student at the University of Glasgow and I am looking to speak with people who listen to Irish Republican music on a regular or semi-regular basis. I plan on interviewing people as part of my research, interviews will take no longer than an hour and in return you will receive a £10 amazon voucher for your troubles. All names and ages will be anonymised.

I'm really keen to hear people's opinions on the topic so if you live in Glasgow, Edinburgh or anywhere in West-Central Scotland and are either willing to take part or would like to know more about the project then please get in touch on here or to this email address - j.markey.1@research.gla.ac.uk

I look forward to hearing from you!

    John.

But Fergus said no, those tunes will have to go!

I'd do it mate but don't fit your criteria/demographic. Sounds like a good project though. You'll get plenty data. All the best :50:

Is your research specifically centered around people that live in the West of Scotland ?

Have you thought about doing some research in the Barras or some of the Celtic Bars before or after the games ?

Or contacting the bands directly that play Irish Republican music ?

Why can't you interview people via email?

You're not going to get very many people wanting to meet a complete stranger about something that can be a sensitive subject in Glasgow.

Its too boring now. Its lost its crazy magic.

you guys need to go back to guys running around in balaclavas with sledgehammers and policemen and their kids getting blown up in their cars. The good old days.

Probably not wise to ask people on an internet forum for personal meetings, especially on subjects of this nature. Some right * crackpots of the zombie nature out there.
