    Agents love using us to pimp players. A walk in the park league but with a Champions League carrot on a stick. Any player who is in anyway half decent wants to play in either the CL or PL. We can be a get-way to both so very easy to put us in the running for a player in order to push through a deal.

    'On a similar note we really should make our Prem. bigger, 16 teams would be perfect, to make it more competative, exciting and more popular as a result, we've got the clubs, we just need the idiots in charge to stop thinking about short term gains (table-scraps, a pittance) and open the flood gates for progress and an exciting, cash rich league.' - whatever you're smoking I want some!

    At the kind of price your looking at Celtic should be looking at these types of players who have been successful in Europe. Dissapointing to see that we might actually not be in for him when the guy is a proven goalscorer and he's rather cheap

    All I'm saying is whoever we sign instead better be worth it because at £2m this guy was the best option for what we need.

    If we go and sign another less proven striker with one half decent season on his CV then I'll be amazed.

    I heard we had made an offer for vossen which was accepted and he has a contract offer from us which has neither been accepted or rejected. Dont know if its true. But this is what I have heard.

    If we were never really in for this guy then id be more worried than if we went for him and never got him! Unless of course Celtic have another quality striker in mind who we are about to splash some cash on...!?

    How can we hope of making it into the Champions League, the highest quality tournament in football, if we can't stretch to 3 million for a player!? Got to speculate to accumulate sometimes!
